Crooks

"Fighthub booked me a flight to Orlando then cancelled right after, I called and they confirmed the seats were taken and I needed to rebook to get that same flight. They charged me for both flights and would refund me on the other flight. Their screw up and I spent 6 hours on the phone and no help. I had to file a chargeback. Never ever use these guys "

"Even if the CEO told me to give a refund, I wouldn't do it"

"The above is a direct quote and sums up the way they operate pretty well. Their business model is to take money and refuse all refund requests no matter the reason or their obligations under the law.

Airline delayed my flight by >20hrs and then cancelled it, so I called Flighthub expecting a quick and simple refund as I am entitled to under the law. Instead they have fought me every step of the way to try and avoid paying - here's a summary of their excuses so far...

- Claimed there was no delay despite it appearing on every website including that of the airline
- Eventually admitted the flight was 'revised' but not 'delayed', so wouldn't issue a refund
- Agreed to 'request' the refund, which later turned out never to have happened
- A full week after the flight was cancelled insisted they had no record of the cancellation or any delay on their system
- Eventually admitted they had a record that it had been delayed but this was not 'official' as it was not 'on their system'
- Told me the airline had recorded me as a no-show (on a cancelled flight)
- Told me the ticket had already been used (again, on a flight that did not exist)
- Told me they 'did not own' my ticket
- Told me they had 'no authority' to contact the airline to resolve the matter (despite being a travel agent who booked the ticket with said airline)
- Referred repeatedly to 'normal terms and conditions' which are completely contradictory to statutory rights and protections

My personal favourite lines from my chats with them;
"Even if the CEO of the airline called me and told me to issue the refund, I wouldn't do it"
"I don't deal with reality, only what the system tells me"

You only need to look at the fact they have a full section on their website detailing the ways in which they will fight a chargeback and force the consumer to pay the costs to know this is a crooked company out to scam customers and avoid paying out at any cost. The positive reviews here are clearly fraudulent - just look at the reviews for their other brands (airticketsdirect.com among others).

I was only able to uncover their web of lies because I spent FIVE HOURS on the phone as they put me on hold repeatedly to talk to 'helpdesk' which gives a different answer every time. Do not under any circumstances book through this company.

Scam....stay away

"Flighthub is a scam. They make money by making errors that they blame on you and then charging you $75 to fix each ticket plus hours of your life trying to get someone to pickup the phone only to find out that the only thing they can do is charge you additional fees to fix their errors. No supervisor is available if you ask for one. With this company the customer is always wrong. Fraudulent business practices to the extreme. Stay away!"

Awful

"eware!! This is the type of company that answers the sales line in 2 minutes flat but has you waiting for 2hours to amend an existing booking. All I want to do is register my 81 year old mother as needing special assistance in a long haul flight and I have spent a total of 6 hours in failed attempts to contact customer service. I contacted the sales team and Kai hung up on me. The company doesn’t seem to understand the link between customer service and sales.Still haven’t resolved this simple issue and sales supervisor, despite being sympathetic, couldn’t help me at all. BEWARE!! Big red flags. Buy elsewhere. Cheap and nasty.

Complete Disappointment

"I had a special and romantic vacation planned with my loving girlfriend to celebrate our first year of partnership. I was planning on surprising her with a trip to where her family emigrated from many years ago; she’s interested in her family origins so I thought this would be exciting for her. Unfortunately, due to financial concerns, my job was taken from me, and I could no longer take on the economic burden of the trip without causing us financial harm. We discussed it and decided to go when it we were more financially solid. I had to cancel the trip. FlightHub did not refund me a single penny, even though I had purchased flight insurance. This also turned out to be a wasted investment. Buried in the policies were the loopholes required to separate me from my money. Not only that, but they charged me an additional $100 in cancellation fees for the experience. With all the other options available (Travelocity, Expedia, Redtag, KAYAK, Tripcentral and others) it’s frustrating that they would victimize their clients like this. Please do not suffer the same fate as me, go elsewhere."

Flight hub is the worst

"Booked 4 tickets with flight hub online,unfortunately in one of them made a mistake in my wife last name,when I tried to fix it, it say on flight hub page they would charge me 35$,I sent the request to fix it, after 2 week of waiting I got an email telling me that they will charge me 125$ For the correction and penalty plus another 75$ for handling fees plus another 105$ because they have to cancel that ticket and book a new one,….My family and myself have been buying tickets for the 6 years through flight hub.but after this I will never use them again or even think about them."

Do not keep their own promises

"My 2020 flight was cancelled by the airline. Flighthub refuses to use the funds for a new booking, even though I purchased cancellation protection. Their policy states: "Up to 100% flight reimbursement if you or your travel companion are unable to travel for eligible reasons under plan terms
Compensation if your trip is interrupted due to an unexpected event covered under plan terms"

"FLIGHTHUB IS A SCAM TRAVEL AGENCY WITH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM ME BY NOT ISSUING MY REFUND AS PROMISED. DO NOT USE FLIGHTHUB!!!!!

Don't Expect Your Refund Anytime Soon

"I purchased a flight to Brisbane in 2020 that got rescheduled to a date that could never actually operate. I was promised my refund would be returned in 6 weeks, then 16 weeks, then a year and a half. Then, I was instructed to contact Air Fiji, because they owed me the refund. I spoke to them multiple times and they assured me it was Flight Hub's responsibility to issue the refund. I provided Flight Hub with this information and their response was to tell me that my refund would arrive in a few more weeks.
March 2022 came around, I was told it would be processed by the end of the month, nothing arrived. In May I was "guaranteed" it would be refunded by May 31st. It is June 2nd, 2022 and I have yet to receive a refund from this company.
Do yourself a favour and stay clear from this company. They are difficult to contact and have zero integrity. I am so disappointed in their service.

FlightHub is the worst online travel website. STAY AWAY!

"FlightHub is the worst online travel agent. Never buy a ticket from them. They are completely incompetent and they have terrible customer service.
I made the mistake of trying to buy a ticket from them a second time. After buying the tickets, I was charged more for seats that I did not request. When I told them that I did not, they accused me of lying and then said they cannot do the refund as the money has been sent to the airline, and I should call there. The airline said they cannot as the ticket is under FlightHub's control and FlightHub should be able to request a refund. So now, I am being bounced back and forth like a ping pong.
The first time I tried to book with FlightHub, they booked tickets that got cancelled, then rebooked them at a higher cost and I had to finally cancel the whole ticket.
If you try to call them, they never pick up their lines. The only way to get in touch with them is to leave a message on Facebook and then wait for them to call you. WHY HAVE A TOLL-FREE LINE?
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Worst Customer Service Ever

"The worst customer service period. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Our flight was canceled and FlightHub refused to rebook us on another flight. Instead, they kept pushing us to just get a refund. We had booked this flight 9 months before our trip and they canceled a certain leg of the flight a month before departure. We had already paid for our hotel stays and activities. Most importantly, it has been 10+ years since my partner went back to her home country. We had called them, along with other airlines, numerous times to resolve this problem. Rather than rebooking us, they continuously tell us to cancel our flight and buy a more expensive ticket. This along with very long wait times, language barriers, and how they just don't care about their customer's feelings, is the reason why you should NEVER GO WITH FLIGHTHUB. Very disappointed.

Terrible, never use

"Tried to cancel a flight, told me to do it online. Then when I tried to do it online it said to speak to a representative. When I called it wouldn’t even put me in a queue to talk with a representative. Money grubbing idiots, impossible to get ahold of to fix your stuff. Don’t use these morons, just buy straight from the airline. If you buy any tickets through third party contractors the airline can no longer help you."
