I ordered 16' x 12' Shaw sheet vinyl from this company - $633/free shipping.
The product was delivered by freight. Sheet vinyl comes on a cardboard core for stability. When the driver delivered the product, there was no visible damage to it that I could see. We lifted it out of the truck, handling it toward the middle of the roll, and there was a slight bend in the roll that would be expected. The driver never asked me to sign for delivery or indicate acceptance of undamaged product.
When I unrolled the vinyl the next morning, the cardboard core was bent sharply in half and the vinyl, the entire length, was rippled from where it clearly had been folded during shipping. It is apparent that some warehouse or shipping handler propped this roll up against something rather than handling it flat at all times - probably, and unsuccessfully, tried to handle 200lbs alone rather than getting help. Additionally, there were surface puncture marks a couple of feet from the ripples extending about half the length - no idea how this happened.
This damage could not be known until the entire vinyl roll is completely rolled out, which is not possible when a freight company delivers. The product is unusable.
Long story short, FlooringInc took no responsibility for the damaged merchandise, only offering me a $100 salvage credit or a new roll if I would pay the shipping of $162. I had NOTHING to do with the damage and it is FlooringInc that has the relationship with the shipping company. I shouldn't pay anything but the original price and expect a quality product. Cheyenne and Tyler were powerless to do the right thing - obviously the warehouse and some greedy MBA decided that they could get away with me being unsatisfied. They have said that they will do nothing more. It is sickening that these companies try to get away with not being responsible for a quality product making it to the customer.
I wouldn't recommend using this company to anyone. They are greedy and have zero customer satisfaction intention.
