"ordered flowers, never delivered, just sent to voice mail. Now trying to get a refund"
"Oh my gosh- So lesson learned. I googled a local floral shop to send my sister some flowers after she had a horrible week. I ordered "a glamorous gift, look no further than this precious pink bouquet of upscale blooms such as roses, hydrangea, lavender sprigs and more, beautifully arranged in a vine-lined glass bubble bowl. Its a fine floral gift with a contemporary flair." What she got, while still pretty, was a bunch of carnations that you could buy at a gas station for 10 dollars. I called about it 4 times. The first time I was sent to a message box after being transferred to a supervisor. The second time I was disconnected when sent to their refund department. The third time I was sent back to a message box when I was supposed to be connected with a supervisor. This last time, I was supposed to be contacted by someone shortly. Thus far I have wasted much of my afternoon. My next phone call will be to my credit card company to dispute the card."
"DO NOT order from them--they are a total scam. When I placed an order (with $40 off and $50 rebate order), the order totaled to twice the amount I thought it would be--but probably what I would pay anyway so I placed the order thinking I could still get a discount with the rebate on another order. After I hit the button--I got no order number, no email (rebate supposed to come in email after order placed). I called customer service right away and put on hold until finally they cut me off. I got an awful feeling and googled reviews and saw how horrible they are. I then placed a call to my credit card company and told them to remove the charge. They were able to since it did not post to my account yet--thank god! Otherwise I would have joined the ranks of those ripped off by this disreputable company. Guess the adage of --if it looks too good to be true--it ususally is!"
"This despicable website did not deliver "same day delivery guarantee". Rep said I ordered too late in the day. There was no cut off time for this listed on their website. So as I tried to cancel my order they said there will be a 30% cancellation fee. A $69 item discounted 50% still came to $69 because of added on fees. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! I NEVER WILL AGAIN!"
"I am so annoyed!!!! I placed one order for sympathy flowers today and received a code for $50 off of my next order. So I figured I would use it for something fun. The form was extremely confusing with lots of discounts, and rebates and random charges that I've never experienced with any other seller. So thinking my purchase was a lot less than it was I hit a button that I thought was "next" but actually pushed the order through! I immediately called the company to ask them to cancel the order. They refused and said they could only give me partial money back even though I had already bought flowers from them today and I just didn't want the second order. It wasn't even as if they had put the arrangement together yet. HORRIBLE customer service. The flowers DO NOT cost what they say they do when you are browsing the website!!!"
"Absolutely horrible service! My husband ordered flowers to be delivered the same day. They were never delivered and he was charged $65.00 for a 39.99 bouquet. We called and were on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally were asked to leave a message. Decided to email to cancel order. Received a response they would contact the fulfillment center and cancel order. Next day I called to verify the order was canceled and card would be refunded. Again on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally spoke to someone who eventually transferred me to a csr. He stated order was on delivery truck. I reminded him that we attempted to cancel the order the night before. He tried calling florist to cancel and the delivery driver "forgot" their phone at shop. Tim verified he would cancel order and refund card. Week later still no refund and on phone with them now for 45+ minutes. Only wanting to refund $10. Really???? After asking to speak to supervisor, instead of getting transferred, I get hung up on. This company is a complete joke. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!!"
"DO NOT USE FLOWER DELIVERY EXPRESS!
We ordered an extra value bouquet and when it arrived the flowers were broken, frozen and definitely NOT worth the extra money we put towards an already expensive order.
We contacted FDE both online and on the phone and had wait times in excess of 30 minutes only to be hung up on when asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The customer service personnel were polite but kept parroting a script that was not helpful in resolving our problem. They appeared to be looking at our order and credit yet the information they were telling us did not apply.
When we did finally get a credit and tried to apply it to a new order (to replace the original bouquet) we were charged another $63.34 when the total that appeared on the original order was $16.65.
This place is a scam. If you really want good quality flowers without the disappointment and aggravation that accompanies this company and it's policies, DON'T waste your money here.
Highly disappointed, frustrated and angry!"
"This company is deceptive, and irrefutably unconscionable. I have placed two orders with them. The first one I paid for same day delivery and added on items to the order making the grand total over $80-the flowers were delivered...to the hospital floor-FOUR days later, after the recipient had been discharged and no add-ons. I've called, left emails, nothing-no response. Second order, because they give you a $50 rebate for your next purchase right? I ordered a $13 flower arrangement-NO add-ons...the total after taxes and delivery charges etc said $2 and change-I complete the order guess what I get a new page that says "Grand Total $52.82" This company is a complete scam, customer service is a JOKE-please, take your money place it in an envelope and mail the money to whomever you are trying to send flowers to, and have them go buy themselves something nice, because this company is full complete, absolute thieves."
"Do not order from this site!!! I attempted to place an order online on Dec. 23rd. When I didn't get a confirmation #, I called Flower Delivery Express immediately. I was told by their customer service department that no order was placed and my card was not charged. No order was ever delivered. Imagine my surprise to have a $96.67 charge on my credit card. After 8 attempts to get this corrected - they refunded my credit card $19.99. If you google them you will find many complaints - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! BEWARE"
"The first time I ordered from this company (two months ago), I wanted to surprise my wife at work with flowers while I was out of town. I paid extra money for a 4-hour delivery and then found that the flowers were not going to get to her work on time. I called and spoke with customer service rep who made me repeat ALL of my order info, name, contact info, etc. as if she wasn't even able to access the order. I tried to change the delivery address for the next day since my wife was not going to be at work. Despite a long and painful phone conversation with this company, the flowers were still delivered to her work. So essentially a paid a lot of money to give my wife an errand to run since she had to drive all the way to her work in order to pick up her flowers.
As an apology for the mix up, I received a store credit which I used yesterday. Much to my dismay I received another email stating the flowers would not be delivered on time. I made two phone calls and sent an email but I still can't get in contact with anyone who change the delivery address or cancel my order. This company is pathetic and shouldn't make promises it can't keep.
How does that saying go, "Fool me once...""
"Very unhappy with the flowers sent, nothing like what we ordered. Will not use them ever again! We ordered roses and ivy in a beautiful dark basket, carnations and daisies in a tiny white basket were delivered! It was embarrassing! This was for my cousins funeral!"
"Very unhappy with delivery. Was not delivered on date ordered. Flowers were limp and not fresh, horrible customer service. "
"Warning! Do Not Order from this company! I should have checked the reviews first, but thought via a Google search, flowers would be sent from a local florist. Their $40.00 off, almost a "bait and switch" offer is a scam and gets eaten up by delivery/processing and taxes fees, so the actual shown price is almost what you really pay.
I ordered a Christmas Huggable Bears planter flower arrangement for my daughter, had to call because I never got an email confirmation and only saw my final charges on the screen for a second and almost fell over when it was over $80, not same day delivery rush express, so wanted an explanation and order confirmation of some type. I never got a email with tracking info or confirmation the order was shipped, so called to see if the order was sent and avoid spoiling the surprise by calling my daughter, which is one of many problems to come. I was told no local florists were able to deliver right after calling to get a confirmation email, so the arrangement was being shipped Fed Ex to arrive the next day and when my daughter sent me a photo of her flowers, I was speechless and not happy to see a dozen open peach colored roses in a dollar store plain, clear stock vase. I paid way too much to just let the issue go and tried to call for help on Christmas eve and spent over 6 hours calling, talking to the initial rep, getting transfered to customer care specialists, hung up on, routed into voicemail, my daughter tried calling too, but no one called me back as promised and looking for one of many different numbers this company has, but all to same run around call center. My final call, I was hot and made it clear I would start filing reports, get ahold of the state attorney general, news that does investigative reporting if hung up on, transfered and didn't get help, which finally got me to a customer rep. I was told the new order would be sent Monday, days after Christmas and be what I ordered, given what later was confirmed the prior Fed Ex tracking number and the rep told me she thought I'd be happy to hear they were resending the order to my daughter, as if Flower Delivery Express did me a favor wasting my time Christmas eve simply trying to get resolution. Monday came and no delivery. Called several times, doing the merry go round again with long holds, no answer, sent to voicemail, etc. and then told there was an "issue", so a new order was being created and sent the next day. I got an email and realized the order number was different, so question if a replacement order was ever really done correctly, but my daughter sent me a photo of the flowers and it was a Christmas themed arrangement, but a snowman cookie jar and not the polar bear. I was done, lesson learned, but had to take the time to warn others and share this nightmare, time wasting, expensive experience, with the hope of saving someone from the worst service, expensive, cellphone minutes wasted, extra hidden charges experience I have ever had. This company should be closed down and investigated, period. Beware."
"I meant to click a local florist but the google search had these guys pop up first...with the name of the florist but their web address. I went with flowers shown as $69. The summary showed a price of about $60 with a bunch of lines for rebates etc and without STUDYING it, i completed the order only to see a confirm with total priice of $115. I called them immediately to cancel the order and was put on hold ... i'm typing this while on hold .... its now 12.5 minutes since the call started."
"When I was on the phone with the flowersdeliveryexpress representative (i think her name was like "Shoncey". I know I probably misspelled it) and we went through the order I was trying to make online for the best "Sweet Surprise" for delivery on 11/20/2014. She came up with a price of $76.00. That was more than what I wanted to spend and I told her nicely that that was too much and I couldn't do that but thank you for your time. She then said, what did you want to spend on it. I said, well, what I thought I was going to spend (around $53.00) before I found out about the extra charges at the end of the checkout process. She said she could apply a discount or something and do it for $53.76. I then specifically said / asked, "And it will look exactly like the picture of the flowers "Sweet Surprise" on the web site?" and she said yes it will. I actually asked this twice.
So here is what happened:
1. The flowers received looked absolutely nothing like the picture of "Sweet Surprise" on the website. I have a picture of the flowers received if needed. Just let me know I will download to my laptop and send.
2. Flowers arrived two days before they were supposed to. This is something else that I confirmed twice with the rep before hanging up. Yes sir, I have delivery date of Thursday Nov. 20th. Flowers arrived the day after I placed the order.
3. Misspelling on the enclosed card. The card was supposed to say "Hope you're having a great day" however, whoever wrote the card wrote it as "Hope your having a great day"."
