"Sometimes when it's not even a holiday or a birthday there's something going on in somebody's life that could use a little special recognition. Sometimes it's something happy other times it's several things combining to make somebody just a little bit "down". On those occasions I find that the unexpected receipt of flowers can sometimes turn a whole day, week or month around completely! And being the sender can get you lots of happy credit :-)
I had such a case come up recently and it dawned on me I had never sent flowers to this person. Not an expression of Love or celebration but just an "I'm here and I'm thinking about you."
Well, the result was ten times better than I could have guessed and a few special handling touches I requested from Flowers Fast were handled perfectly and added to the whole effect. I can't imagine using anyone other than Flowers Fast on such occasions or any other time!"
"I ordered flowers for my brother and his wife in Hawaii, and I was beyond so pleased. I asked for a florist-designed bouquet because I wanted the flowers to be fresh and local. When I spoke to my brother, he said they were absolutely beautiful and they loved them! I have not seen my brother in many years, and it was important to me that the flowers sent a message of cheer and blessing. A confirmation was sent to me when the flowers were delivered. The website was easy to use and their prices were lower than the other sites I checked. I will be using Flowers Fast again for all my needs and occasions. Exceptional Company and Service"
"Ordered an $80 bouquet 3 days in advance for my fiance to be delivered to the school where she teaches for birthday, in a major metropolitan area, middle of Dallas. Gave very specific instructions on address, phone and date of delivery. No call no show. I should have known not to use this site after seeing the way outdated crummy website. Like buying online in 1995, but I thought I could save $5. Called the phone number on the site to inquire about the failed deliver, nobody answers. I get an answering machine, not a voicemail system, an old fashioned answering machine on a landline. Go with the big names. Its worth the extra few dollars."
"FlowersFast.com seemed good to begin with. At checkout, there is a DEFAULT that says "are substitutions ok - yes". I did not see this (and strongly urge that this default be set to an open field instead of a pre-answered field! I notified them immediately that I did not want major substitution and they stated they would alert the local florist to this. I did send them several emails about possibly changing delivery dates, and once I had a delivery date confirmed, that portion went smoothly. The flowers that arrived were BAD! Nothing like I ordered, some were already drooping, a few were already dying! Flowersfast did rectify this, with a partial refund, and a corrected bouquet that was MUCH better. But no follow up reply indicating they were sending the new bouquet. I more blame the local florist honestly, but FlowersFast should not be using florists who do not uphold a certain standard, and they definitely failed on that front."
"I bought three arrangements within a matter of weeks because I am so happy with these folks. The most recent one just didn't show up, and I was so upset! The Flowers Fast people worked through it with me, and we figured it that the people at the hospital facility were rejecting it each time they redelivered claiming my Mum was discharged.
They stuck it out with me and finally got the flowers to my mother. I will always patronize them as long as they are in business."
"They use the bate and switch method. I purchased a specific arrangement for a new born baby boy, paid extra for card, teddy bear, balloon, and chocolates. They were not delivered on the day specified. I called customer support and was told I would receive an "upgrade". The flowers received were not baby related but fall, the vase was a typical glass vase.with a maternity balloon. No bear, No chocolates. I called customer service again, emailed pictures of what I ordered verses what was received. They said I would get a partial refund. I'm still waiting 3 months later. They use a third party to handle the flowers, they take there word over yours. Even with pictures!!
