"The name of the game in DSLR's today is bundle. The manufacturers basically set the price of the body and lenses separately, and then dictate what "official" bundle pricing should be. But the retailer can sweeten the deal by adding in their own "swag" to the bundle, like bags, tripods, remote shutter actuators, and filters. Comparing side by side what other shops were offering, it appears Focus puts the most sweetener into the deal... hopefully the hot-shoe flash that is coming with my DSLR is going to be adequate for my kind of amateur photography. The Canon bag in my bundle looks like something you'd get for free for opening a checking account, but there was no option to apply it's value to the purchase of a nicer sling bag. That's a minor gripe."
