"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
Placed and order in spite of the fact that their rating here was >2 at the time. The price seemed to good to be true. It was. They pulled the bait and switch on me.
"We are cancelling your order in our system and removing the pre authorization from your card or refunding your paypal account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."
The only positive thing about this situation is I will never waste time typing an order into their web site."
"These guys are great! They took the time to find the exact product I needed for a repair. Because of them I was able to recover all my lost data. I couldn't have done it without the knowledgeable sales people at Foxtec. Would highly recommend this company."
"BUYER BEWARE!!!
Ordered usb drive that had very very low price on pricewatch, but by the time I recieved my order confirmation email the email had a blank space where my items ordered would be and the site had put a notice on the product page that the price listed was incorrect, within a few more minutes the price of the item had increased ten times! Even though they are obviously not selling the item at that price, my credit card was billed for that amount. They were quick to cancel my order and de-bill my credit card, but it was a huge hassle overall. This might not be the first time you have heard this about Foxtec, but BUYER BEWARE!"
"Shipped wrong item. Would not pay return shipping. Did not respond to emails asking for info. about replacement."
"I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a "new drive" from them. The drive came with someone else's data on it.. obviously used for several years. The drive's boot sector is damaged and after calling them I've not been called back. I'll update this post in a week to let you know if it was an honest mistake or just a scam. BUYER BEWARE."
"BUYER BEWARE !!! I also purchased a replacement
hard drive for a laptop that was advertised as new, the
invoice stated the condition as new. I went to install
the Operating System when I found out there was already
one on the hard drive. I consider this outright fraud and plan to take appropriate action. Have contacted them
and they stated that they have "two versions" of this
drive and I was sent the wrong one. "
"Foxtec had a good price on a Nikon Camera I was interested in, but they did not have a link to a rebate Nikon was offering at the time. I emailed them asking if they were an authorized Nikon dealer and would the rebate be valid if I ordered from them. It took a few emails over a 2 week period for them to finally get them to come back and say that the rebate would be valid if ordered from them. I then ordered the product from them and visited Nikon's site to download a rebate form, What I found there was that you have to get the rebate from the retailer you purchase the camera from. Each rebate has that retailers Nikon Authorized dealer number on it. Well ofcourse Foxtec did not have this. I immediately emailed them back and told them to either produce the valid rebate form with their authorization number on it or cancel my order. 2 days later I got an email stating my order was cancelled because they did not have the camera in stock(even though the website said it was instock). No one even ever replied back to me about my request for a valid rebate certificate. Its now a month later and they still show the camera on their website as in stock... Yeah right!!!! BUYER BEWARE

"They had a VERY low price w/ free shipping on a drive labled as; new/static bag. I wanted to buy 4 of them, but they didnt have very good ratings, so I ordered one.
It shipped out two days later and it came just as described; new in static bag. The manf date was 2 years ago, but it was sealed.
Shipping package; They packaged it A++++ . I actually havent seen packaging this good before. A company would probably charge around $20 for packing/shipping this good.
I wanted to buy more drives...but they are sold out now."
"Ordered a smallish IDE drive from them. Price was really good, and since they promised it to be new and brand name, I went for it.
The packaging was the best I've seen in a long time. Hard drive was packed in a real hard drive shipping box, as opposed to just a random box with filling.
But that's where the positive stuff ended.
The hard drive was not new, but used. And not only
was it used, it had someone's data on it. Apparently
it had come from a Dell.
I tried contacting the store for an explanation, but
to no avail. Like talking to a brick wall. "
