"Bait and Switch / Deceiving Terms / Unhelpful Customer Service I bought a game thinking it was for steam. One reason for this was that it included a free steam game and did not say anything about another DRM other then you redeem a code for the game. The code for the game didn't activate, but the code for the free steam game did, and I contacted customer service about it. They said the game does not use steam but taletell's own DRM. Im very confused and customer service acted like I knew it. I kindly asked for a refund as I didn't play the game at all, but they were very rude to me stating that the matter is solved and closed."

"The 7900GX2 was listed as instock. I paid $576.96 with my credit card. The order sat in "processing" for over four days. I asked when it would ship and, alough I was promptly responded to each time, I was always responded with a usless awnser. I told them I wanted a refund, and they promptly did. Now the problem is; The order was for $576.96 but they only refunded me $569. They cannot give me an awnser why this happned. The order was never shipped or even processed. Im contacting my credit card company for fraud."

"They had a VERY low price w/ free shipping on a drive labled as; new/static bag. I wanted to buy 4 of them, but they didnt have very good ratings, so I ordered one. It shipped out two days later and it came just as described; new in static bag. The manf date was 2 years ago, but it was sealed. Shipping package; They packaged it A++++ . I actually havent seen packaging this good before. A company would probably charge around $20 for packing/shipping this good. I wanted to buy more drives...but they are sold out now."

"They had a low (but not lowest) price on a 250GB HD and free shipping on 1 item. I was expecting to get the retail package, but I didnt even get OEM! I just got the drive wrapped up in bubble wrap. Drive seems to work so far..."

"The reason I give a low rating is because of the mail-in-rebates they never give out. I placed two orders with them. One was 3 months ago for (2) harddrives with $80 in rebates total. So far no word back and from what people are telling me, they aren't too good with keeping there end of the deal and honoring them. The drives were priced higher then other stores, but bought it thinking I would get the mir back. The second order I placed was for (6) wi-fi antennas. I saw on there main page it was listed as $5.99, but when I added to cart it came up $25.99. I called there 800 number, and after being on hold for about 10 minutes, a friendly person came on saying it was a price mistake, but they would honor it! So I got the (6) antennas for $5.99 each instead of $25.99! I would like to give a higher rating, but they advertise heavily on the MIR's, and if they are not going to honor them, its just a scam and should be avoided."

"Worthless Account Managers... Back on 1/3/03 we bought 20 user license for Windows XP. About two weeks ago I ordered the media for XP. I waited a week and recieved the wrong thing (ordered wrong by account manager). It took a few days to get a hold of him, but then he had reordered it. Over a week went by (with no contact from him) and again I recieved the wrong cd, ordered wrong by account manager. He wouldnt awnser my emails. This is the last time I will be doing business with them. They screw up orders all the time."

"This is most likley a scam site. You have to put down about 25% of the cost of a item, and they clam to send it to you within about 7 months or less. I found this site after spending about $4 on ebay for "information" on how to get electrionic items very cheap. It looks promising, but dont get involved. "I have had nothing but troubble with this company. Last order I placed, sat for a week till I called. They told me it was placed but not processed yet. I had to cancel that. This order was for a $1,500 computer plus 3 year warranty. It sat all day and I had to call to make them push it through. I had to have it today. They "pushed" it through at 1pm, and now the next day I dont have it. It didnt even ship yet. Nothing but troubble from them."

"I needed a power supply for a KDS 6000 series. This is the only place that seemed to have it. I needed it the next day, and decided to give them a try. I placed the order online, and got a error message when I clicked on order. I called them up, got someone right aways, and they told me the order was placed. They couldnt give shipping price, just power supply + shipping. I recieved it the next morning, well packaged, and it worked good. My only compaint is that there was no printed invoice. And if I want to find out how much I was charged for shipping i'll just have to wait till next month will my cc bill comes. Besides that, it seemed like a good place to buy."

"They send you stuff you dont order - and charge your credit card with out asking. Sure it seems like a good deal - 12 cd's for the price of one, but then they send you stuff and charge you for it. I sent back the reply card stating that I dont want any, but they sent me this Nelly cd (and I dont even like that kind of music) and charged my credit card with out asking me (they had it on file) I sent the cd back asking for a refund, but I havent gotten it yet. I might end up loosing $22.70 for one cd that I didnt order!!!!"

"Lies and theft They had really good deal, either download demos for free or for a small price order them on a cd. I ordered about 7 demos on 2 cd's for about $4.50. They told me about 10 business days till I get it. A month later nothing. I emailed them on Saturday and, to my supprise, on Sunday they told me that $4 would be refunded and it would ship tomarrow. Its been a month after that and still nothing and im out about $.50 which they never refunded. I can still download game demos, but dont dare order them on cd!"

"Second comment from a post long ago. They first charged my credit card $265 then checked and found out they didnt have it in stock. I cancled the order. They still left the charge. They didnt refund the money till 16 days later. I found this out when I got my statment, it was a mess. Why was it charged for 16 days if the order never was because it was out of stock?"

"I needed a rare replacement SCSI drive for our server. I couldnt find it anywhere on the internet except for here. I never heard of this company before, couldnt find any reviews, and the website didnt look very professional. The price was kinda high and they are located accross the country, but I decided to give them a try. I placed a order at 2pm EST for next day air. I got a conferm email soon after and tracking numbers the next morning. A few hours later and it came. I didnt get to install it yet, but everything looks good and well packed."

"I was looking to buy a customized gaming computer. I saw a ad in Maximum PC and like the way the website worked with customization. I spent about $1500 on a computer. I got it in a timly matter, and well packed. The first thing I noticed was that the cdroms and floppy were white (the case is black with window) and the cables were all a mess. I was expecting everything to be color matched and the inside nice, but there was no promise of that. Next I spent about $500 on; lcd screens, lights, nice cables and cable looms, painting the cdroms, ect... About a month after I got it, the mobo died. I didnt know what it was at first, but I called the tech number. I was on hold for about 20 minutes till someone had time for me. I asked if I could just send in the mobo/ram/cpu for testing, they said "no ship the whole computer to us at your cost". I wasnt about to do this. I bought a used mobo off of ebay and it worked. I called back tech support, waited about 20 minutes again, and finally got them to let me send in the mobo since I verified it by buying another one. I shiped it back, at my cost. I got another one back about 1 1/2 weeks later. It was a higher rev. number, but mostly the same. They sent it in a anit-static bag. I wish they would have sent drivers and such, but its ok. Overall I dont think I won or lost here. Everything worked out allright."

"I was looking to buy three things for a file server that Im building; case, 1.7 celeron, 256 RDRAM. The CPU was a great price and had free shipping. I was confused about the memory. Did 256 mean one module or (2) 128 because it says that it has to be installed in pairs. I sent a email to them, but they didnt respond till the next day, which was too late because I placed my order today. They have a good selection of cases, but not much instock, and they wont tell when they will get more in stock. I got my CPU 3 bdays later and for the price, $54 shipped, I was happy. I just wish they had better customer service and let us know when there expecting more stock."
