"Caution: My Experience with FragranceShop.com

I'm writing about my experience with FragranceShop.com.  
I'm only stating facts: 
I purchased from FragranceShop.com back in January. The item I purchased pictured a 3 piece set with a white carrying case. When my order arrived there was no white carrying case just a cheap plastic box. So, I contacted the company and let them know their advertisement was misleading and that I wanted to return the item. I sent the product back within the 30 day return policy. FragranceShop.com received the return on Feb. 18th it is now Apr. 16th. I was never issued credit for the return. I had to file a dispute with the bank. Then FragranceShop.com submitted false information to the bank claiming they didn’t issue credit to the Mastercard card I used for the purchase. They issued credit to an Amex card ending in 1001. First of all, this was my first purchase with this company. I have never used any other line of credit  with them only my Mastercard. I don’t even own an Amex card. I'm so confused on where they got this information from. I dealt with Natazia the "Customer Service Consultant" at FragranceShop.com. At first, she seemed very helpful but after I tried to explain to her that they issued credit to the wrong card. She cut off all communication with me. Then submitted false information to the bank to avoid issuing credit. The bank reversed the charge in their favor. To reopen the existing dispute I had to provide in writing proper documentation supporting my claim. I also included a copy of the original invoice, tracking information and all my email correspondence with this company. To date I have yet to receive my credit for the return. FragranceShop.com kept the return and my money. Hopefully, the bank reviews my letter and reverses the charge back in my favor. This is so frustrating all I want is my money back. I'm writing this review just to warn any potential buyers to BEWARE!!! If you check the BBB Fragrance Shop has an F rating. I wish I would have checked before I placed an order.

"I ordered 6 items, paid, but only received 5 items. Altho the shipping box was undamaged, intact, and there were NO signs of tampering in transit FragranceShop.com refused to send the missing item or refund the money I paid for it. After several emails and calls they instructed me to place a false claim with the shipper, UPS, and told me what to say and what NOT to say in order to squeeze the money out of UPS.

If you search "complaints Fragrancshop.com" you'll find a litany of similar complaints by people reporting they were scammed, ripped off, or received fake goods. AVOID THIS SELLER LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Report problems to the Edison or Trenton NJ Better Business Bureau online, or the Attorney General's Office of New Jersey - Consumer Affairs Division.

"VERY DISAPPOINTED. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I ORDERED THE FRAGRANCE I WANT ON LINE, MIDTOWN PERFUME WAS THE 2ND, (FRAGRANCESHOP.COM) WAS THE FIRST.BOTH TIMES, IT WAS OFFERED, MY PURCHASED ACCEPTED, THEN BOTH TIMES, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT IT WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THEY PULL YOU IN WITH A PRICE FOR SOMETHING, THEN CANCEL YOUR ORDER , THOUGH AT THIS MOMENT THEY BOTH ARE STILL OFFERING IT FOR SALE! AMAZON IS NO HELP EITHER!"

"Ok here is what happened with my order. You decide whether this deserves negative feedback or not. I definitly think it does. I ordered from then for christmas. Ordering went fine and they shipped out relatively quickly. Prices were definitly pretty good. Here is where the problem comes in. I chose to gift wrap option for 4 bottles of perfume/cologne that i bought. These were for 4 seperate people. They let you choose a personal greeting which i did for each one that you chose the gift wrap option for. When i opened the box that they sent me i find out the wrapped all of 4 cologne/perfume with the same wrapping paper and they just threw the greetings cards in the top of the box. They did any of the gift wrapped ones in any way so i had NO idea which gift was which and i had to unwrap each and rewrap because of this. I emailed them shortly after i found this out and did not receive a response in 1.5 weeks. I then emailed them again and was a little more firm. I think i was fair in that i just said i wanted the gift wrap option refunded. Also, i tried to call them in the number they have on their website and it just rang and rang and rang. They don't even have any type of answering service where you can leave a voice mail. Anyways they finally responded to my 2nd email with a BS response saying they don't say on their website that they will label the wrapped ones in anyway. WELL DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!! either does amazon but they label them so you know which gift goes to who. So pretty much prices are pretty good but good luck getting any customer service if you need it"
