Went to the parts department there the next day, and the order wasn't "processed" yet. They claimed it can take 24-48 hours to do the paperwork, because it's not the same as if I had walked into the parts department and just bought something over the counter (even though the online order still came off their existing stock on their shelf.)
Seems to me that the online ordering / pickup process should be at least as fast as if I walked in and bought the part. You need to streamline the paperwork so the order is ready within an hour or two after you receive it."
