"Please believe the bad reviews of this company! They are completely warranted. Furniture Buzz may have good prices, but they're absolutely NOT worth the hassle.
I ordered a desk chair from Furniture Buzz a few months ago and was told that it would arrive in 15-20 business days. Once that time had elapsed with no sign of the chair or further communication from them, I called their customer service line to check on the status of my order. Turns out, the chair hadn't even shipped yet, and they didn't know when it would. I decided to cancel my order at that time and was assured that I would receive a full refund within 10-12 business days.
I again very patiently waited for that time to elapse, and of course received no refund. I emailed Furniture Buzz about this and was told that my refund was "currently processing" and "would clear soon." After waiting another few days, I contacted them AGAIN, and was told the refund would clear in another 7-10 business days. When that didn't happen either (surprise, surprise), I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I guess that's what it takes to get them to honor their promises, because I did finally receive my refund a few days later - over a month after I had cancelled my order, nearly two months since I placed the order with them in the first place. I'm convinced that if I hadn't continually contacted them like I did, they would have just kept my money.
Bottom line: unless you enjoy babysitting, stay far away from FurnitureBuzz.com."

"I am very disappointed in the customer service at FurnitureBuzz.com. I ordered a 4-poster bed from them (Paul Deen Furniture) and I waited and waited. I called several times, the customer reps said they would call Paula Deen Furniture, I never heard back. Today (December 13th), I cancelled my order. I will never order from this company again, there wasn't even any alternatives offered."
"Do not order from this company as they have poor customer service when items arrive damaged beyond repair. The bed I ordered arrived broken in several places with major nicks in the wood. The driver did not leave an invoice with my nephew, so this company refused to do more than offer me a $50 credit for a $480 bed that was usuable and unrepairable. I sent photo's of the damage, but that did no good with Michael P, and I was told I was the one responsible as I did not get a reciept! I was not home at the time of the delivery!!! I still have the bed in my shop as a reminder not to do business with this company ever again.
So, buyer beware when dealing with FunitureBuzz!!! Forewarned is better than being burned."
"Well I ordered chairs, they told me on the phone they are in stock and I would receive them in 3 weeks. Seems like a long time to wait for an in stock item. Then I get an email a few days later stating my in stock item will take 45-60 days? OMG! I started calling and emailing, always on the dock, waiting to be shipped, on its way, etc. etc. Finally item arrives at freight hub, but they will not deliver since Furniturebuzz has not paid the freight bill. I have spent hours on the phone and lost a day’s pay staying home for what was supposed to be the delivery day. Robert over at Furniturebuzz had the nerve to tell me the boss used his credit card and I am all set. I promptly called the freight company, nobody has been contacted by Furniturebuzz and they cannot get hold of anyone at Furniturebuzz...lies o' plenty. I was informed that there were a few other Furniturebuzz shipments in limbo there for the same reason. (yay my furniture has company) Now I sit here with no chairs in my house with the holiday's coming up. My furniture sits at the freight office, soon to be put in paid storage until Furniturebuzz mans up and pays its bills. I have frustration, no furniture, I am out $900 and a day’s pay...absolutely the worst company I think I have ever dealt with, avoid at all cost! Where I am now you soon will be too, if you deal with that ridiculous excuse for a business. I have a complaint in line behind many others with the better business bureau and have filed with their states attorney’s office as well."
"I bought a set of 2 bar stools from furniturebuzz. in Sept of 2010 had to return them because they where too big called them and was told just send them back UPS insured and we will refund your card. Furniturebuzz received them on Oct 7/2010 signed by Lynch. Then the phone call and emails started by me I called 6 times emailed 3 times talked with Robert, Joleen, Joran, Jayson all said the same thing REFUND IS IN ACCOUTING. This is an out right lie they have no intention of sending a refund. They now have charged my debit card, cost me shipping to send back and have the bar stools. I would call that theft. I have filed with the BB and am going to contact the Attorney General's office. I think we should all file a class suite aginist this guy and his wife."
"Do buy from this company! I placed an order for a bedroom set on July 10, 2010. On July 11th furniture buzz charged my card the full amount $3610.80. After six weeks I called and after three attempts finally got a reply that it was back ordered. My card was still charged for the amount. Each time I called they kept moving the date until finally they told me it was in stock and would be shipped Oct 15th. November 1st is here and no furniture. I called and cancelled the order. When I asked how long before they credit my card the amount they should have never charged, they said it would take 15 days. I have since called American Express to retify the issue. This is not the actions of a reputable dealer."
"This was an all around, terrible experience. Delivery time was 7 1/2 weeks from when the items were paid for. When the delivery finally came (and I had to carry 375 lbs of furniture up a flight of stairs to my office suite), it only had two of the three items I ordered. I called every week after three weeks to follow up on my order and never once did I get an apology. At no point during the sales process did they provide me with an estimate of how long it would take to receive my items, so I had assumed they had my furniture in stock and would ship it immediately. Boy was I wrong. They get furniture once a month from their companies, and then ship it to you by a company that cannot enter the threshold of a building. They literally dropped of a pallet of furniture in the parking lot of my building. I really wish I had just gone to Office Depot and paid the extra 5%. STAY AWAY FROM FURNITURE BUZZ!"

Ordered my desk from them on Aug 13, 2010. Got an email that it will take appx 21-30 days for delivery. Oh well, should have asked before I ordered. A month later, no desk. Called, spoke with Robert, was told that the manufacturer still have not mailed the desk to them and they do not even know when they will. It might be 2 weeks or 2 months. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. Was told it will take 2-4 weeks for refund. I paid with Paypal and it takes 5 mins to do a refund to paypal. So I waited 2 weeks, called them again, was told it would take 15 days. Asked to speak to main store manager and was told that he is not in. ( Everytime I called and asked to speak to him I was told he's not in) I asked to have the refund Rushed. Guy said ok. Another week later, no refund. I called again, was told a few more days. A few days later, NO REFUND, called again was told A FEW MORE DAYS. Asked to speak with store manager and was told "NO". I coudn't speak with him or the lady that does refunds. (which in fact is his wife) He was very rude and then said that he has other people on hold and handed up on me. BTW-every time I called them I spend at least 10 mins on hold. A couple of times it was more than 20mins. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AND DO NOT RECOMMEND OTHER PEOPLE TO SHOP THERE. "

"FurnitureBuzz lists items in stock that they do not carry. They have great prices but after waiting 2 weeks for an order to ship they still could not tell me when they would have the items in stock. If you don't mind waiting weeks then they have great pricing a nice website. Otherwise, they are just another drop shipper taking advantage of the consumer."
"We have been shopping online successfully for many years and have only encountered one other company (out of hundreds) that actually inspired us to post a negative review online.
Furniture Buzz is without question the worst company online company we’ve encountered. Throughout the numerous phone conversations we had with both FB and the shipper, there is no question that someone was flat out lying to us. My guess is that it was not the shipper.
Based on the rudeness, hostility and defensiveness of the “customer service” staff at FB, I’m guessing that they are very used to dealing with angry customers.
As for lowest price, that is misleading, too. Their price might be the lowest before shipping, but when they tack on the shipping the price is not less than other companies, who provide free shipping. If you’re reading these reviews, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
UPDATE: Having now been involved in probably a dozen phone communications with Furniture Buzz staff, I can say with complete confidence that I would strongly recommend NO ONE buy from these people. Right down to our last dealing with them, when Michael Phillips at their company told us that if we would call UPS, they would verify their tremendous charges, they were less than honest. UPS tells us they're not permitted to tell us what they charged Furniture Buzz and Michael Phillips refuses to provide a copy of their invoice. He said it was "proprietary work." These people are snakeoil salesmen."
"Poor Service!! Delivery on in stock recliners from LANE WAREHOUSE over 15 days ago was not delivered as on 12 22 09. Furniturebuzz took over 24 hours to respond to my phone request for questions regarding the delivery of my items. Now delivery is scheduled for January 6th. This company has had my payment in full for over 18 days and has failed to meet their 15-20 delivery on in stock items. I strongly would not recommend this company to any consumer!!!! Very poor service and lack of tracking on line. "
"This was my first order with your web site company and I was a little nervous about it. I am happy to report that my nerves were quelled by the e-mail notifications, the arrival of the product, the condition and quality of the product and the on-time efficiency of the delivery.
The wood furniture was exactly what we hoped it would be based on the web site written description, specs and photos and the quality and price of the Standard product was very good.

"No complaints here! Price was $57 lower then anyone else, even those with so called "free shipping!" Ordered a kitchen table and 2 chairs, late at night on Saturday 2/7/2009. Received immediate email confirmation. Monday 2/9 received another email confirmation, and on 2/10 received email confirming shippment, including tracking information. Order was delivered to my front porch on Thursday 2/12/2009. Would buy from them again."
