"The lady that sold me my leather sofa guided me exactly to what I wanted. She was pleasant and informative to my needs. HOWEVER, your shipping department was lacking. I have a large SUV and it was going to be close as to whether the short leather sofa would fit. After assuring me that it would fit, it most certainly did not. Furthermore, they damaged the leather arm of my sofa and when I pointed it out to them, NO RESPONSE.
So, for over 30 years I have dealt with you guys but I won't deal with your shipping department on a customer pick-up again. Oh, it would have been nice if one of the jerks would have put his cell phone down when I asked him a few questions.
I will say this- there was a black gentleman who kind of took over and he was very helpful and nice. The other guys? I can't imagine that they could pass either an intelligence OR a drug test."
"Excellent sales reps who were friendly and knowledgeable w/ terrific guidance. Carry so many furniture lines and prices are fabulous! Showrooms are amazing but it's not necessary to go onsite-- easy to shop online and order via phone or email. Have done both and always a great experience."

"When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the friendly sales staff. I was not ready to buy so went through Furnitureland with my family. Once the decision was made to purchase LR furniture I returned and was assigned a sales representative. All was going well and the transaction was quickly completed. I chose the fabric that was on display for my furniture. A week and 1/2 later my sales rep called and said she had bad news and the fabric I chose had been discontinued and the company had not alerted Furnitureland. I had to drive back to your store, almost 2 hour drive and select a new fabric. The fabric on display with the furniture I had selected did not have any notice that the fabric was discontinued. It turns out that is was a lower end fabric and my selection of fabric to stay within the price range was very limited. I was forced to select another fabric which increased my overall cost. I realize that the sales representative was not responsible for the discontinuation of the fabric, but 2 days later there was no note on that chair to alert other customers. The repeat trip required me to drive 4 hours (there/back) and 2 hours to re-do my transaction. "

"Came to NC from MI. Needed a dining room set to compliment an older Cherry Wood cabinet. Our salesperson easily found our taste requirements and helped us mesh our new furniture with the old. "
"I ordered a replacement cushion on April 3, 2017. It was delivered on May 1, 2017. I did not immediately open the package, but a few days later, the company contacted me to let me known that my order had been mixed up with another customer's order (who ordered the same cushion in a different fabric). So the company sent FedEx to pick up the cushion. On May 29, I received another email saying that my cushion would be delivered on May 31, 2017. The email did not say that someone had to be home to sign for the package. On May 31, FedEx attempted to deliver the package, and because no one was home to sign for it, it was returned to the distribution center. The company has now given me a window of June 29 - ? for the next attempted FedEx delivery. So, if/when I receive the cushion, it will have been at least 3 months since I ordered it. While I appreciate that the company contacted me to let me know about their error, I would have thought that they would've done more to make it right. Disappointing experience."
