"I had an issue with a purchase, due to the manufactures issue. Despite this GPS City did what needed to be done to make me a completely satisfied customer. Above and beyond what could be expected of them. A reseller that stands up for the errors of the manufacturer is top notch, and you will not find a better solution. The manufacturer in this case was useless, and offered no solution at all. I was about to return the unit, and move on to another. Yet after my experience with GPS City, during a pandemic no less, I know they have my back, and I can feel confident in the product.

"I recently purchased a RAM cell phone holder from GPSCity. It came in 3 parts, the base, holder, and an arm. The base and holder were in sealed bags. The arm was loose in the package. It was very obvious the arm was either very used or very abused. The finish was almost completely worn off. I called and was told they all looked like that but I could send photos of it to see if it was worse than the others. They got right back to me after seeing the photos and said if they replaced it, the replacement would look the same. I called the manufacturer, RAM, and sent them the photos. They immediately sent me a new arm in a sealed bag. Save the heartache and buy elsewhere. "

"GPS CITY knows very little about the products they sell. Additionally, they charge HUGE RESTOCKING FEES on returns. I have spent days fighting with them and have gotten nowhere. I am planning to contact the BBB and attorney general. I purchased the Garmin Echomap Plus 94SV from them through Amazon. Although they represented that this unit supports auto guidance, it does not unless you purchase a $449 Garmin Vision Card. They have even sent me a condescending and abrasive email saying that this is my mistake and the unit does come with auto guidance. I have confirmed with Garmin directly that it does not. To make matters worse, I drilled 4 holes in my dashboard and wasted an entire day installing only to later find out that this unit does not support auto guidance. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!"
"Per their own website return policy; Unused, new condition return will get 100% refund. They charged me 50% restocking free for a Ram motorcycle phone holder that claimed to be universal. I had to open the package to find out that it wouldn't fit my bike.
Once returned I found they only refunded 1/2 of my money. Called to see what the deal was and was told that because the package had been opened that's all I'll get. They refused to be reasoned with and were very rude.
Stay away from this company if you think you might need to return your item."

"I ordered a Garmin charger from GPS City and when I placed the order it said "in stock, ship the next day". As I was on a tight timeline, I placed the order and did next day shipping via Canada Post. Well, when the item did not arrive, I checked on the status of my order and it had been back-ordered for 12 DAYS.
1. I would not have ordered if I knew this ahead of time
2. I would not have paid 14.95 to ship it in a day.
Totally unacceptable and bad business. I will never order anything from them again."

"I only review when things go really good or things go really bad. Unfortunately, with GPS City things are really bad.
If you want to return an item, restocking fees are through the roof. They range from 20% to 50% of the product. On a $750 GPS, this means that you have to pay $150 plus return shipping for them to take back an item that is not defective.
Never again."
"Purchased a NUVI 2589LMT refurbished from GPSCity. They claim these units are as good as new if not better than new as they have been repaired and tested. My unit had a washed out screen which would have been obvious to anyone simply powering the unit on (which GSPCity explained they do not test and will not test any units they sell). The unit also had personal data (tracks) from the previous owner. It had not been factory reset! Turns out they sent me a faulty customer return and explained that it is how they operate. They do not test and simply ship anything they get straight back out! They ship a faulty unit returned from another customer to a new customer! I now have to spend more money to ship the defective unit back to them and wait several months for them to decide if they will refund my money! They should refund immediately knowing they ship out faulty products!!"
"I purchased a Garmin eTrex 30X and City Navigator Europe NT card from GPS City for a trip to Europe to navigate European cities. The total cost of the GPS and Navigator card was $370. This is the third GPS I have purchased from them. When I got to Europe the GPS did not work-it allowed me to enter European city addresses but that was as far as it went-no ability to navigate by GPS. When I got back to Canada I contacted GPS City and explained the problem and they told me that they did not provided repair service and advised me to contact Garmin directly. I wrote back and explained that they sent me a unit that did not work and that I wanted either a new GPS (that worked) or a refund. That was the end of the communication-they did not respond to my email. So I'm stuck with a GPS that does not work and GPS City does not want to do anything about selling me a faulty GPS.
My recommendation to any one considered buying from GPS City-don;t do it. Go to a seller like Amazon or any other retailer that stands by products they sell. GPS City DOES NOT!"
