"Before ordering I read several negative concerning G&R Tactical but I decided to give them a shot anyway. The main reason I rolled the dice was the price. I had been looking for an H&K 13.5 threaded barrel but most companies were either out of stock or 300.00 dollars. G&R had them for 180.00. After I ordered it received a conformation right away and received an outstanding barrel in three days. Therefore I have no problem recommending G&R Tactical. Must be their competition putting out the bad reviews. "
"I ordered a firearm and it showed it was in stock. So the money was taken out of my account, then I get an Email that said it was actually out of stock. Then the guy tries to sell me another different firearm and tried to tell me it would take 4-6 months to wait on restock. Nope and still haven't received my refund. Unsatisfactory. "
"Ordered a Aimpoint optic with QD mount. Optic arrived with no mount. Contacted seller asking for a replacement - he lied and told me none where in stock, although the website showed that they where. Told me he would send me the missing part. Three weeks go by, no part. I speak with the owner again, he claims now he will contact the manufacturer to send me the missing parts. It has now been two months and nothing. It's a shame to see a once reputable vendor behave so poorly and dishonestly. "

I ordered a 22LR suppressor for $250 after receiving an email add on Black Friday. My credit card was charged at that time. After 3 weeks I emailed them to find out the status of my order as I had not received any communication from them. They responded saying they were waiting for a form 3. I replied asking what that was. Their response was: "Have you never purchased a suppressor before? That is the form between two class three dealers. Then, you will have to do a form 4 with your dealer which will take 4-6 months". No, I hadn't ever purchased one before so I responded that I was not aware that it was such an involved process so please cancel my order. Their response to that was that they would charge a restocking fee (on an item they had in stock and weren't even close to shipping). They wrote "Everyone knows that a suppressor is NFA (less you apparently). We have sold several of these and not a single person was confused (less you). So the issue with you." This was an Internet order. This complicated process was not explained in any way. They also did not explain that there would be an additional "transfer fee" of $200 in addition to other fees that would be charged when the item was finally shipped. They refused to give a full refund on an order they hadn't even begun to process and repeatedly insulted and belittled me instead of simply educating me on a process I knew nothing about."
"All content of this review can be supported by e-mail history to and from Grant Timberlake at G&R Tactical. I was interested in a Colt 1911 Competition listed on Gunbroker.com by G&R Tactical. The pictures were not clear to me and there was no mention of the material or finish of the gun in the listing. I ask via e-mail, "is this gun brushed stainless"? The answer given was one word, "yes". I completed the purchase and received a blued gun. I was immediately told there would be a 20% restocking fee and I would be responsible for shipping. When I responded that I was told the gun was stainless in an e-mail Grant Timberlake said he couldn't find the e-mail. He ask that I forward the e-mail to him. After receiving the e-mail he didn't deny that he said "YES" but said that it was sent from an I-phone so he probably didn't look at the pictures. That was the first of many excuses. He said I should have researched the model. He sent a picture of a black car and said, " if the car owner told me it was silver would I believe it". I ask if his word shouldn't be believed. He said I was the only person on earth who couldn't tell from his pictures the gun was black. He said he was thinking of an early model that was black coated SS. Colt said they never made such a gun. After I posted this story online he told me I wasn't very smart because he had my money and the gun. After I protested him holding my refund hostage he said, "monitoring feedback slows the refund process". 26 days later I got a check minus 20%/$162. I am also out $52 shipping. After the check cleared I posted this story in feedback on Grunbroker to which Grant Timberlake replied that the pictures were obvious and I shouldn't have had to ask and 20% restocking is company policy. My only argument has been that he told me the gun was brushed stainless. Grant Timberlake gave many explanations, excuses and blamed me. None of which are valid reasons to penalize me for a purchase made based on wrong product information supplied by G&R Tactical.

"Found the best price on the net for my S&W MP10 at G&R Tactical. Paid for the rifle on a Wednesday, it was shipped out that afternoon, and I received it as promised that Friday. They were outstanding and I'd definitely use them again."
"I ordered a 9mm M&P Shield on March 25th 2013... at a time when this gun was absolutely impossible to find anywhere except auction sites where they were selling for $100+ more than the gun normally sells for.
I was lucky enough to check their site at the right time and snagged one before they sold out (which only took hours) and am absolutely AMAZED with my experience.
Firstly, these guys could have easily taken advantage of this post-Sandy Hook gun market and charged $100 more for this gun and would have sold out just as fast... but they didn't! They charged a FAIR price. That alone speaks VOLUMES!
But what's more is the speed at which they handled my order. I placed the order on a Monday and my FFL holder emailed his license the following morning. They shipped the gun the SAME day they received the FFL and I received it 2 days later. Order placed Monday... gun received Thursday.
This company has my respect and my return business."
"I found items I had looked days for at G&R Tactical. Never had heard of G&R before finding the items, I was hesitant to order from anyone I had never talked to verbally either by phone of in person. Took a chance & ordered $144 worth of parts and am glad I did. I received an confirmation email of my order and then not long afterwards received an email notifying that my package had shipped & the tracking # was included. I received the package with everything I ordered on time & nothing could have made my experience any better. I never talked to anyone at G&R Tactical and they did a great job. I have since found other items not located elsewhere that I will be ordering in a few days. I highly recommend shopping with G&R Tactical. The companies I usually order from could do no better!
I wrote this review on my own account also, having never conferred with anyone at G&R Tactical. This is how American businesses used to be all over the U.S.A. Hopefully other companies will follow G&R Tacticals' style of service!"
"This message is to answer the complaint of Doc Holiday7:
Alex Billmeier
Mr. Billmeier saw a post on an internet forum about an LMT MRP (http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=852&page=10). He then proceeded to call us to order said item. As you can see in the ad, the MRP in question does NOT come with iron sights. On our website and LMT's website, the MRP is NEVER offered with iron sights: http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=L7S1A & http://www.lewismachine.net/store.php?cid=8&session=0486c64d91d4dc937ed846d62b0c6da2
The point of the above links is to prove that the customer would have first had to see one of our ads to know that we had the MRP in stock. Not a SINGLE picture or ad shows the MRP coming with iron sights nor does it say anywhere that they do.
Over the course of a long conversation, we discussed lots of iron sight options. The MRP complete rifles DO in fact come with LMT iron sights. The uppers do not.
At one time, we believe that LMT may have included iron sights with their MRP's, but that was more than a year ago. This is most likely where the confusion comes in.
What the customer fails to note in his many posts around the net is that we have offered the following to him:
1. Free set of S&W iron sights.
2. LMT iron sights at cost.
3. Troy iron sights at cost.
4. Return the item (less a restocking fee to cover the CC fees we have already paid).
We feel that the customer did not educate themselves on the product they were purchasing and are upset that they did not get something for free. The customer has gone to just about every business complaint type website in order to try and discredit our good reputation. What we find funny is that if we in fact had done something wrong, the customer would have just filed a complaint with their CC company. The problem is that we did nothing wrong and the customer knows that the CC company won't do anything about it. This is commonly referred to as a "CLUE."
What is even more entertaining to us is the fact that the customer believes that if he hits enough odd ball websites that maybe we will send him something for free. He must not realize that the more he does this, the more we will respond and spread the truth. ;-)

"This company does not have a clear understanding of the equipment they are selling. I spent over $1k on equipment to try them out. There was a clear understanding of what was included in the purchase when selecting the item. When the equipment arrived it was missing $168 in equipment. They admitted they provided the wrong information about the item, then blamed the manufacture for them not being aware of what they were selling. I followed up directly with the manufacture and they made it clear this was G&R's fault and not the excuse of it being a recent change that I was being led to believe. After several attempts to ask for the item or a store credit. G&R offered to return the item for a restocking fee even though they admittedly, in writing, misrepresented the item when they were accepting my payment.
In their last email they informed me my only option was to return it for a restocking fee and if that did not interest me then do not bother emailing back.

"Browsing around, I ran into two (recently fast-moving) items which I had been hunting for at G&R. I sent off an email inquiring about the stock status of the items, just in-case. Exactly two minutes later, I received a reply confirming the items as in-stock. So, I placed an order. The items shipped the next day and I received them in a couple days as expected."
