"What a scam... I ordered a pair of shoes and their system placed two orders: one forthe slae price and one for the regular price. I received both pair. They sent a call tag and I sent one pair of shoes back. This has been going on since February and I still have not received a credit on my credit card! They don't answer the phone nor reply to emails sent. Buyer beware..."
"Gadget Universe pulled the same bait & switch on me as it did others. That is, they advertised something as being on "sale" and then charged me the normal price. In this case, that was almost double the sale price. I called customer support who could not help and said I should send in an email. I've called my credit card company to tell them to deny the charge. Beware this company!"
"I made two orders on what I believed were "sale" prices:
1. My First order was for the "Dunn Horitzon Pilot" on sale for $29.00 (original list price $100.00).
They charged me the full amount and not the discounted price as seen on "order status". However, I had made a screen capture of the transaction showing the price at $29.00
2. My second order was for the "flying back dual time automatic" on sale on the website for $69.99. Original price was $199.95. I ordered this online and made a screen capture of the receipt. Then, on going into the "order status" screen, I found that it was invoiced for the higher price. I had to wait till after the weekend to call Gadget Universe- They were not sympathetic till I told them that I had screen captures of the prices. They agreed to refund the difference, but charged me the higher prices anyway. I am still waiting for the refund to show up on my CC. Interaction with the Customer Service employees, was very pleasant, however."
"We bought a Memory Foam Mattress for $529.00 plus shipping.When it arrived it had a very strong chemical odor.After letting it air out for a month the odor was still so strong that it could not be used.We contacted Gadget Universe and ask for a refund.They refused.They offered a store credit if we would pay to ship it back to them. We believe they sold us a defective product and refused to make good on it.We strongly recommend not doing business with this company."
"Returned Gravity Defyer shoes (they suck)I purchased using registered delivery and insured USPS which confirmed delivery on 12/13/07. The shoes were immediatly returned after their quick initial trial in unused/new condition. Its now over 1 month later and we've yet to receive our refund. Turned it over to our credit card company who will dispute the charge so we don't have to waste our time chasing these bozos who are only available via phone until 4PM PST. Their order takers are always there but refuse to help.
I wouldn't do business with Gadget Universe again and strongly suggest you web buyers out there do the same. Joe"
"I ordered one of the Steinhausen watches on Tuesday. Chose UPS 3-Day service. The watch was delivered on Thursday, a day ahead of schedule. The watch is gorgeous and very classy. After a 24-hour run, it had gained less than two seconds, better than my Omega Seamaster which gains about five seconds a day. I am delighted."
"Purchased a Steinhausen watch which I liked very much except it lost 15 seconds every day which is unacceptable. Gadget Universe immediately ordered UPS to return the watch. They were slow in issuing a credit, I had to call back twice but eventually they issued the credit. I consider this company to be completely trustworthy and I will due business again. They have a good inventory and very good prices."

"Ordered a cherry wood atomic clock, it arrived within a couple days in perfect condition. The clock was very inexpensive in comparison to other sites ($30 cheaper) which listed it for $78. E-mail confirmation of my order was given and I could track my order staus via their website. All in all, it was a painless experience for my first order from them."
