"the original order I placed on 8 Dec. was back ordered on my confirmation email but no follow up status to let me know it was not due back in stock for over a month, which does not help as it was planned for a Christmas present. I called today to check status only to get the above info. I went back thru the catalog to try to find a similar style of boot and finally got one of your sales agents to make suggestions for a replacement pair. He found a pair similar, not exact, but close enough, which I placed on order. He couldn't guarantee they would be here in time for Christmas but he would try.
A progressive heads up status would have been appreciated.
