"Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I called them and asked them if they had an Athlon 64 FX-53 939 CPU in stock. They said yes. I asked them, 'If I order this, can you guarantee it by tomorrow'. They said yes. I asked three more times. Each time they assured me that it would be in the next day. I paid overnight shipping. I paid to expedite the order. Can you guess what happened? Yep, they didn't ship it. So I was stuck waiting for an order that I needed and they failed me. I would never buy anything from them again. They promise goods they cannot deliver. Do not purchase from them."
"Ordered a LeadTek 6800GT for a good price (411.00) especially when I couldn't find them for under 470.00 anywhere else. It didn't ship until 8/24 (3 business days later) which was a little disappointing. And their order status updates on the website were very slow. My guess is that their computers may have been under heavy load at the time. But the customer service was good - replying to my email and phone inquiries. This place has excellent potential if they upgrade their ordering systems. I would order from them again, if the price is right."
"I haven't received my order yet but I choose to comment before because I think I like these guys at gameve already. I ordered my Visiontek x800 XT OEM and an FX-53 939pin on 8/28/04, a Saturday. I know I know, rich kids suck...anyway. Today is Wednesday and I've been wondering why my order has said "sent to warehouse" for the past two days. I had read that the Vid card had a ship date of 5-7 days but I was confused because it hadn't said "In/out of stock ETA 5-7 bus days" it just said "Est. ship 5-7 bus. days". So because of an upcoming LAN I wanted to dominate, I wanted my parts now. So I e-mailed them and this was the response: "We are waiting for Visiontek to ship it to us from their warehouse within 5 day. Visiontek has already contact us that the shipment to us will arrive Tuesday of next week due to Monday being a holiday. We do apologize for the mis-understanding but this item will be shipped out once we receive it. Thank you for shopping with gameve.com

"These guys switched to a "ship only to billing address" policy effective Aug 16. When I placed my order on the 13th, I was glad to get in under the wire because my billing address is StatusFActory, my bill-pay service, which obviously is not where I want merchandise going. So today (17th) I get an email back chastising me & saying I need to fix this. After phone calls with GameVE operators dumber than a post, I cancelled my order. If these guys do not yet know bill-pay services exist, I would worry about all their accounting practices. What really steams me, though, is that they enforced their policy retroactively and made me wait 5 days with a dead computer before notifying me of their amazing display of customer service."

I ordered it late Sunday night, they shipped it Monday and I received it Thursday and that's without paying $4 extra for Gameve's rush service which guarantees they'll ship it the next business day. I installed the card and it works great. I'd definitely do business with Gameve.com again."

I checked back on the 9th and the release date has been pushed to 8/13, so i gave them a call and they told me for sure theyll have it either Friday (8/13/04) or Thursday night (8/12/04).
