Ordered an item that costed over $60 four months ago - still do not have and this was a "replacement" for same item that they stated they shipped 10/15. Called today and they stated they will now ship new one out on 11/30. NOT acceptable - told them as much as I wanted it to please cancel this order and refund my money. They then stated that they would not refund back to my charge card but instead would issue a check sometime in early December. WORST company I have ever had to deal with."
"Worst Company Ever!! Placed an order almost a month ago. Never provided status on order (whether it was shipped or on back order). Find out today after waiting a long time to get a hold of customer service that not only was my order placed on back order but they just found out that they can no longer provide the item I placed. When I asked why we weren't notified, the customer service rep. hung up the phone!! Absolutely Ridiculous"
"I placed an order on December 14 I received my confirmation saying my order was ready to ship when I checked the tracking through FedEx it said label created. After checking my bank statement they charged me three times I called customer service they were very rude and argued with me thanks PayPal for fixing it.. 10 days later I checked the tracking and it still says label created called customer service to find out it was on backorder never received an email saying it was on backorder customer service once again was rude and told me I should've ordered it on the phone instead of online. Christmas present won't be on time if this wasn't a Christmas present somebody specifically asked for I would send it back.

"Horrible customer treatment and overall business practices! I ordered an item online at a discounted price (that they posted...so there was no reason to not fulfill the order at that price) - but like others have said, my "shipped" order just kept showing that the shipment was "initiated" but not actually sent to FedEx yet. After three emails asking why my tracking number wasn't being updated (and a week AFTER the date my item was supposed to be delivered) - I finally get a response saying that under "normal" circumstances, they could just ship me the item, but the item has been "discontinued" (although the same exact item is still showing on their site at full price but with a different item number). Sounds like somebody didn't want to fulfill my order at the sale price so they "discontinued" that item number, cancelled my order, and put the item on the site with a different item number! Shady practices!
Oh and they said they would "put a request in" for me to get a refund to my card. Excuse me? I order a product, the money gets TAKEN out of my account already, I get no item for what I paid, and now it has to be "requested" that I can have a refund for these circumstances? Is this a joke? Still waiting on my refund...I would just be safe and stay far far away from this company and its affiliates (Taylor Gifts). I wouldn't say that it's an all out scam, but it's definitely dishonest business practices and a big pain in the butt to have them charge your card and then not give you your money back for ages. Hopefully the "request" to get my money back for the NOTHING that I received gets approved! *fingers crossed*"
"I haven't had any problems with Get Organized. I have ordered a few hinge ere and there and love their clearance finds (: shipping was always fast and everything came in perfect condition! I received the invoice immediately; it's unfortunate for those who didn't. That can be. Little pricey at times but when you can't find something specific -- they've got it!"
"My two experiences shopping online with this outfit have been frustrating to say the least. Although I received prompt email confirmation of my orders, and was eventually notified of backorders, the in-stock portions of my orders were not shipped until I complained by email and inquired as to the status of the orders. Despite the order status in "My Account" on the website indicating that items had been shipped, when I clicked on the tracking number I learned that the shipper had no record of the tracking number. I received no replies to my emails other than being notified that certain items had actually been shipped. I will never order from Get Organized or Taylor Gifts again, and encourage others to stay away from these companies."

"Worst Customer Service ever. I have sent 3 emails plus 2 phone calls and no-one has even acknowleged that there is a problem. I ordered 9 products, 5 of them didn't even match the description in the catalog, one was actually a duplicate of another item instead of the one I had ordered which left me with only 3 items that were correct. Their return policy is you pay for the return shipping whether it is their mistake or not. I have contacted my Charge Card company and am disputing the charges and the BBB in PA, for fraudulent shipping practices"
"1st time ever ordered from GetOrganized. Placed online order at 12:15PM & at checkout it said "You will receive email verification of your order shortly." (Every other company I've ever ordered online from has sent an email order confirmation almost immediately.) By 2:45PM still had not received any email so tried to use website's "order tracking feature". Order could not be found. Sent Customer Service an email requesting information. Their website says "We strive to provide you with the best on-line customer service you've ever encountered, whether you ordered by mail-in order form, fax, phone or the web!" It's 5PM, still no email confirmation, no answer from customer service and order still can't be tracked online. This is the worst online shopping experience I've ever had!!! I am in the process of trying to figure out how to cancel order. Wish I'd checked here first!
UPDATE: When contacted Customer Service by phone the next day I was told that they HAD sent email notification of my order (it was not in my junk mail as suggested) & that my order was in the process of being picked from the warehouse. So I decided to let the order stand. A day & 1/2 after my email to customer service, I received a reply that order would be shipped that day. (I was finally able to track order online by using 5 digit zip instead of the 9 digits I entered on order form.) I am waiting for the product to arrive, but I feel much more confident about my order now! However, I still think that an order notification needs to be sent immediately and inquiries to Customer Service should be answered promptly, not 36 hours later. (I will update again when my order arrives.)
Order arrived 8/4 in good condition & product is as described. So in the end, I am satisfied with the product but would hesitate to order from Get Organized again as I feel they are really lacking in good Customer Service."
"I ordered from Get Organized! (www.shopgetorganized.com) aka Taylor Gifts on 11/24/09 with two items. They shipped the first smaller item promptly and I have no complaints. As for the second larger item (OVER DOOR MIRROR ARMOIRE, item #28877), they did not actually have it in stock and it was marked "Backordered". I also received an email about this from Sidney Hawks
Director of Fulfillment, Taylor Gifts, Inc. on 11/25. Since then it has been more than 1 month and they still did not find/ship the item. I called them after about 2 weeks wait since the email and was ASSURED the item would arrive to them by 11/18. This did not happen. I had hoped this would be a Christmas gift!.. And now on 11/26 I am canceling. Their customer service is a separate matter. It takes 15 "push buttons" and several drop calls to reach a human. And then one guy more rude than another says the item has not arrived, they do not know why and when it would, and pretty much I have to wait. One of them even hanged up on me. Well, decide for yourself if you want to dela with these..."

"I recently ordered the Roll Top Personal Secretary, item number 24555.
I received the package from UPS Ground today, and instantly knew something was wrong. The brown shipping box was horribly taped, very mangled, with many dents in it, as if its been kicked and crushed. The brown box itself would not even stand! I could even hear pieces sliding around inside! Inside the brown shipping box was the product box itself. There was ZERO padding to keep the product box from sliding around and getting tossed around inside the brown shipping box.
The product box was horribly dented and seemed like someone had already previously returned the product since the box was retaped, and the foam inserts to protect the product were already broken. The Roll Top Personal Secretary itself is in broken pieces! It is chipped, the wooden sides have broken off, and the pull out drawer and sliding top have broken off as well. This is a very bad first time experience with Get Organized/Taylor Gifts, and am very unsatisfied with this type of service.
DON'T BUY FROM "GET ORGANIZED" AND THEIR AFFILIATE "TAYLOR GIFTS"!!!
