"Great price and fast, free shipping by USPS. Packaging was not very substantial (I would hope for some corrugated cardboard at least), but OEM disk arrived in good shape.
I'm not sure how previous rater could blame this vendor for postal blunder and expect some kind of "help." "
"I am disgusted by this seller. The post office left my package outside on the door steps, I live on a main road which is the same as having given my package away. However upon trying to get in contact with customer support at Globe 2000, it seems to be a fly by night operation. I have been calling for 2 weeks now and no one answers the phone, or returns a message. I have emailed them several times and only received 2 responces telling me to check with my local post office. They are unwilling to help, and have truely disgusted me with the online shopping experience."
"1st Purchase. Ordered NAV 2004 OEM. Could not believe how fast it came!! I ordered on Wednesday Jan 21st at like 2AM Central time. I received CD in mail on Friday - using standard free shipping. Was not packed the best, but worked well enough (was sandwiched between two pieces of thin cardboard - won't hold up to Samsonite gorillas, but held up to 'normal' shipping abuse).
Great Prices. Fast shipping. Product appears to be legit OEM disk too. Can't complain about that.
I would buy again from Globe 2000.
*** UPDATE ***
Well, I had to update my rather favorable rating and downgrade to a just 'so,so' at best...
I have made 2 more purchases since my initial review in Jan '04. My 2nd order went the same as my 1st order - perfect. But, both times, all I ordered were NAV 2004 OEM. And it seems they are on the ball when it comes to that product. The only real issue remains the packaging (just an inside-out Airborne express envelope taped with generic Scotch tape).
However, my third order, I not only ordered NAV 2004, but also an OEM of Nero 6.0 (I needed it for an old 8X burner where it's software was MIA -so I did not need full blown CD burning software; Just basic burning). Well, I got the NAV 2004 in like 5 days. Not bad. Except for the fact that they did NOT include the Nero 6 OEM CD-ROM. The packing slip stated it was included. But there was no disk (and consequently, someone must have known this, as I saved my 1st envelope and the postage was the same -- on my 2nd order for 2 copies of NAV, the postage was more as more weight for 2 CD's. Plus, their web site listed Nero as 'Out of Stock' a day or so after I placed my order).
So I e-mailed them. They apologized (quick response), but said it was out of stock now and that they will ship next week.
Well, weeks went by. E-mails were sent - and every e-mail (except for like one or two) were answered in like 36 hours or less. However, they were not doing anything other than stalling. So, in late March, I told them I was going to contact my CC company and dispute the charge. I told them that 6 weeks was more than enough time. After that, they had a bit more concern -- and then did the 'playing dumb game' (what was your order again? Didn't we already send you that? Are you sure it was not in the envelope? Etc..).
Note that the order was placed on 2/11/04. Then on the day I was finally fed up and was going to call my CC company on go through the PIA task of disputing the charge, I get an automated e-mail on 4/4/2004 stating that items were shipped (from my invoice dated 2/11/2004). So I decided to wait and low and behold, I get the Nero CD 5 days latter.
All, in all, they were very polite and responsive. But they were of no help and all they were doing was stalling for time. No one ever answered the phone when I called nor returned messages. Just prompt e-mail replies that promised to ship in 'X' days. Not too good.
At this point, I would be very leery to place another order. Luckily, I was not in a hurry. But taking from 2/11/04 to 4/09/04 to complete an order in unacceptable.
It is just a shame. Their prices are very good and my first 2 orders went perfect. It is just they have no customer service at all. Also, I don't think they are out to scam, or I would not have received the Nero disk. But they should not take money for items out of stock and then wait on my dime for the item to come back in stock.
I hope they clean up their act. Additionally, I could not in good conscious recommend them to anyone -- at least not without a disclaimer about the risk involved and the company's lack of customer service.

"I ordered Norton Internet Security with free shipping and within 3 days it was at my door. Pleasant experience and terrific prices. I will definately order more products from this company. No hassles, easy ordering, great prices."
"Not good. I ordered software that I need immediately. In fact, although they offer free shipping, I went ahead and paid $13 for two-day shipping. (on an OEM CD, which ways almost nothing) The item didn't even SHIP for exactly TEN days! They still charged me the $13 for two-day shipping. They did respond quickly to my e-mail. However, the first response was "we had to wait for it to arrive to us". That's honest, but that's not my problem and not what I paid for. At that time there was no offer of apology or even to refund my shipping at the very least. After a second, in-depth e-mail I did receive an apology and a promise to credit me for the shipping. That's not very much considering they offer free shipping anyway. The biggest problem was that they never told me that there was going to be a delay. It did eventually arrive and is in good condition."
"
The software order arrived quickly and the price was very good. The packaging was very flimsy though, so they took a risk of having the disc cracked in the mail. I would prefer to have the option of paying a few extra bucks to avoid any problems."
