TERRIBLE service. Do not shop from them.

"These people seem to be experimenting with selling their own products themselves. So far the experiment is a disaster. I tried to order the new GoPro Hero 5. Starting with the totally buggy web page and webstore (problems too numerous to list), going to the non-functioning order forms and then on to an order which required 4 hours of chat and telephone conversations with "support", who were clueless on everything from the website operation to the shipping and billing process, I must say that this was an experience I would not repeat and one I would not recommend to anyone. "

"I purchased a GoPro Hero 4 Silver, right away it was having issues freezing. I contacted GoPro, they said they couldn't do anything since I wasn't using one of their recommended cards. I went out and bought one of the ones on their list, had the same issues.

At that point they had me return the gopro and sent me a replacement (or maybe just did a reset on the same one and sent it back), and it has problems freezing up. So thinking I must be crazy I purchase another memory card from their list. Same problems, 4 different cards, 2 different ones off their list of recommended cards and none of them work reliably (about half the time it freezes up).

They aren't responding to my emails now.

I understand that things have issues sometimes, but when a company isn't willing to replace defective items, that's a big sign that something is wrong. Don't be fooled by the brand name, pick a more reliable camera.

"I called GoPro Customer Service to return a Christmas gift. I asked it they could be flexible on their 30-day return policy for the holidays. He told me they did in fact have a 40 day policy for the holidays. It had, however, been 41 days since my mom had received the camera. The Customer Service representative told me that it was past the 40 days. I asked if they could be flexible on the one day and he said no. I then asked him if he would mind asking a supervisor if they could be flexible on the 1 day over. He came back and told me they couldn't because I had opened the camera. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said it wasn't possible. When I persisted, he had me hold and then came back and told me they'd return it if I bought an upgraded one from them, as I had told him the reason for the return was I was upgrading to a higher model (Hero3+ Silver) that Target had on sale. So I asked if they could price match, and he said they don't pricematch. So I gave up. Then, I remembered my sister had also received one for Christmas. I called her and hers wasn't opened. I call GoPro back and told them i was returning hers, unopened. They told me the case had already been closed by a supervisor and that I had already told them I'd opened it, so they wouldn't accept a return from me. Huh? So, again I asked for a supervisor. After ten minutes, a supervisor gets on the phone and told me the case notes were too long to read and asked me to explain to him what I wanted to do. I told him, I want to return my GoPro, but it's one day past your holiday return policy. He told me that was no problem, they were a flexible company. And, he said "I'm not sure what all of my colleagues were referring to. Nothing in our return policy has ever differentiated between opened and unopened items. I'll put my colleague back on the phone to send you an RMA so you can return your item." So, I guess all of the previous people were just kind of making up things as they went along on the call. The result was good, with a very helpful, normal supervisor. But, even he was annoyed and confused by his coworkers lack of flexibility and completely false statements. I'm not used to such rude customer service people. Maybe I caught them on an off day."

"I got GoPro HD, this is best camera I have ever owned for sports, not only “bullet proof” but also water proof. I’m using it for diving and road bicycle cycling. Camera dropped at 55km/h during downhill and still worked when I went back to pick it up, it is unreal how strong it is.
Great customer service had 2 small issues that were resolved in few days after few emails exchanges. 1080p or 720p
Quality for the price is excellent, it can not surpass my Canon 5dMKII files, but it is 15 times cheaper and way more versatile for all kinds of outing. I found myself leaving my big camera home more often and taking this little gizmo with me. Try recording rollercoaster ride. Tons of FUN

No other 300$ cam beats it!!!

"I bought their Motorsports HERO WIDE Camera.
The camera is ok. The sound leaves something to be desired, lots of low level static. I suppose the noise will fade into the background once I mount the camera on my motorcycle and go riding.
