"the trip was wonderful. It was a once in a life time trip. Our tour guide made the trip even better with all of her knowledge, if someone asked a question that she wasn't too sure of she made sure she found out although there weren't too many facts that she didn't know. Every day brought more new adventures which we all loved. I would go on another Go Ahead Tour in a heart beat. Everything is taken care of for you there are no worries. From taking 12 flights with no one loosing there personal belongings. It was wonderful. "

"We loved our trip to Spain .This is our second time using Go Ahead tours .
The cities we stayed at were amazing and we really liked our tour guide Rafa. He was very personable and very Knowledgeable. We liked all the hotels we stayed at. The restaurants we went to were very nice except the last restaurant that was in the hotel in Barcelona there the food was really bad and cheap food like going to Burger King.
My only other negative for this trip was the Tour bus we were on most of the trip. The bus driver was wonderful but it was a very uncomfortable bus. The seats were awful and several were broken . You need to get better buses for your tour buses we would like to go on another tour with you next year but I you need to get better buses ."

"Most of our experiences with your company have been very positive. We loved the guides and the pace. We have seen countries that we would not have chosen to see on our own. Sometimes the airplane flights were too close together, not enough time to get to the next plane without running and being quite anxious. The only trip that we didn't love a lot was the cruise up the Alaskan Islands. That was because of the crowds on the boat, not the places themselves. "

"Ireland was beautiful. Our tour leader was fine and our driver was absolutely wonderful. I feel some of the tours offered, both optional and included, involved too much bus time. Several of the hotels were absolutely wonderful, while several were below par. The hotel in Dublin, the Temple Bar Hotel, was in the middle of the "action" - resulting in very little sleep for the tour members as there was partying till three in the morning. The Travel Inn Killarney and the Inishowen Gateway were both terrible and in the middle of nowhere - they were not up to par and the staff in both places were rude and terrible at their jobs! Because they were so isolated, it made going out in the neighborhood awful - the choice of restaurants were limited. Both of these hotels had inedible food."

"This my 3rd tour with Go Ahead was a new tour: Food and Wine - Flavors of Tuscany and Umbria. Unique opportunities for great food and wine experiences, the hill towns and Tuscan scenery were high points. The Rome tour was exceptional; Florence is one of my favorite cities. Our time was filled with things to do but time to relax, too. The walking was extensive and difficult for this "senior" traveler, but for the younger people it was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable, gracious, provided "extras" that were great, and made sure we all were on time. LIked the scheduling of staying 2 or 3 nights at the same hotel. Also liked the small group of 25 all of whom were wonderful companion travelers. "

"Ecuador (Quito & Galapagos Islands) and extension to Peru (Lima, Cuzco and Machu Picchu). We had a wonderful experience on this amazing 16 day tour of Ecuador and Peru. However, it is not for those who don't want activity. This tour was go, go, go we did get our $$ out of the tour. The hotel in Quito and the Legend Cruise ship were wonderful, the staff on the ship and at the hotel were willing to help you anyway they could. Our Tour director in Ecuador Rodrigo Correa was exceptional he made sure we all had a Great vacation! The hotel in Lima was okay but, not even close to the hotel we stayed at in Quito. Lima's hotel was conveniently located near several destinations that were in walking distance along with restaurants. The Hotel itself was a bit dated, had few power outlets in many of the rooms and could be noisy. The Cuzco hotel was better with the exception of the street vendors that descend upon you leaving the front doors of the hotel. The Machu Picchu hotel was modern and clean, however my room had an odor that was something like sewage, not sure if it came from outside since the windows were open and there was no a/c. Otherwise the hotel at Machu Picchu was great. Their breakfast buffet could add an additional employee to make the fresh to order eggs, the line for that was quite long and slow. All of the sites that we visited in Peru were incredible and the local guides were very Knowledgeable. The tour director in Peru was a bit more standoffish and less personable then the one in Ecuador but, he did a good job. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to visit these places and went with Go Ahead Tours, they did a Great Job overall. (all the hotels in Ecuador and Peru were very clean)."

"I had a wonderful trip to Ireland and Britain. This is the first time that I traveled alone, (not knowing anyone in the group), but previously I was on 2 Go Ahead tours. I had a blast. I was the only Canadian in the group and met 25 new American friends. While on tour, one day blended into the next, with always something to do. As well, there was someone to tag along with on free nights. (In Dublin, a few of us went to the theatre to see an Oscar Wilde play). For my next trip I have a couple of friends that I will invite to join me, but if they choose not to go, I will again try it on my own.
