"I really enjoyed our trip to Venice, Florence and Rome. There was a pleasant mix of guided time and free time. The hotels were clean and enjoyable. Our tour guide Enrico was excellent! He is a great organizer with a wealth of knowledge and wonderful personality. He was able to offer tips and hints and information of past as well as current culture. Everywhere we went people seemed to know and appreciate him."

"I first learned of GoAhead when the Columbus, Ohio Dispatch featured their hiking tour to Ireland, which keenly appealed to my love of hiking, my love of Ireland, and my desire to indulge myself in overseas travel post retirement. The price was very reasonable, even with the single supplement, which with other carriers is often so high that it removes the trip from consideration.

The tour guide shared his own passion for hiking in his beautiful country, its history, and of course Guiness. The group was relatively small, but diverse and congenial. I met 3 women with whom I became friends, and with whom I have travelled on 3 other GoAhead trips. We have another hiking trip scheduled for September, to the islands off the coast of Spain.

When our travel schedules do not mesh, I do not hesitate to travel alone with GoAhead, because never fail to meet very congenial and welcoming people. The guides are unfailingly personable, accommodating, and have a wealth of information. The pricing is reasonable, the diversity of trip selection always appeals, and the travel incentives offered through GoAhead are an added bonus.

I look forward to (hopefully) many more years of travel with GoAhead. I enthusiastically endorse them to anyone interested in an enjoyable and satisfying travel experience."

"Ou r trip to southern Italy was amazing. We had a great tour guide, Linda, and so much fun on this excursion. It was my first time to go to Italy and I got to visit the town where my grandfather was Born. we visited so manY places like Capri that were so beautiful and the food was delicious everywhere we went.it is a very fast paced tour and we did a lot of walking but the exercise was great and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in going to Italy. the only drawback for me was that we visited many cathedrals and I would have rather spent the time to do a little more shopping and a few less cathedrals on the tour."

"My first tour was excellent and obtaining assistance from customer service was very easy and convenient. I am taking my second with Go Ahead leaving on Saturday, but their customer service on the U.S. side is not as prompt as previously experienced. I am very happy with the itineraries offered, however their customer service does need some help. A timely response to a request would have been appreciated. After three attempts through e-mail (to obtain a response), I gave up because no one ever contacted me back with a response to my question.

Trying to get a customer service agent on the phone was also tedious and time consuming. Eventually after being on hold for 20 minutes, I was able to speak with someone.

Overall, the payment terms are quite satisfactory and their variety of destinations is outstanding. The local guides are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. "

"The Scandinavia Capitols and Fjords tour was one of my most memorable. I look back and realize how much we saw in the time we had. I am amazed at how flawlessly the travel came together using planes, trains, over-night cruises, and busses. My favorite view was from the window of a train from Bergen to Oslo when a light dusting of snow covered the countryside as we travelled along. The natural beauty on the Fjord boat trip more than met my expectations. I revisited Copenhagen and discovered the colony of "Christiana" which I hadn't seen on previous trips. Stockholm and Uppsala were a delight. One last overnight cruise and dinner onboard and I was in Helsinki, ending the tour with a day in Tallinn Estonia. Perfect! "

"We had a wonderful trip to Puglia. Linda, our tour guide was absolutley excellent! She is very smart, knowledgeable about all the places we visited ( I don't know how she could remember all the dates of all the take overs of the various region/cities!!!!) and a lot of fun! Linda made our trip the best! WE covered a lot of territory and learned a lot about the Puglia region. Our hotels were very good, except Sorrento where it was very hot and the hotel room was VERY hot. The group dinners were great and we had a lot of fun!
