"My first trip with Go Ahead was to Africa and it was amazing, our guide was awesome and knew his stuff, however my most recent trip to Alaska our guide was not very good at all. The trip itself was great, itinerary wise. I'm in my late 40's and traveled with people all in their mid sixties and they had the same complaints. She was clueless about simple questions, we knew more than she did, since 7 days was on a cruise ship, she wasn't really needed anyway. Hope to have a better guide next trip with Go Ahead"

"This was our first 'guided tour' and we had some reservations. Would it be too slow, would the group have a 'diva' or a 'grouch', would we not have any down time away from the group-you get the picture. Fortunately, almost everything about the tour was great. The group bonded quickly, all were mellow and seasoned travelers who were interested in all the other members. Several took the initiative to organize 'wine on the roof at 9pm' a good number of nights to unwind and relax together. The group worked really well.
The tour director, 'Raf" was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. He went out of his way to insure we visited the best restaurants, sites, even on our free days he was more than willing to make the best suggestions. The pace, sights, cost, everything added up to a great experience. We have yet to decide if we will do a tour this year- but if we do we will contact Go Ahead- thanks for a great trip"
