"Over all this was a very good tour. The only thing we didn't like was having to get up and get going so early every day. Our tour guide Heidi was very good and our driver Eric amazing. The hotels were all very good with the exception of one. It was nice and had great views but very cold up in the mountains and they had no heat. All in all, we had a really good time and got to see a lot of Costa Rica. The extension to Manuel Antonio was not offered on our dates but we went ahead and did it on our own. "

"This tour was outstanding from beginning to end, from pre-departure zoom calls through COVID testing to get us back into the US. This tour hit the highlights in the cities visited given the number of days for the trip. Our tour leader LaLa was very experienced, funny, and outstanding with her depth of knowledge. I always felt in good hands as a solo traveler. Group was a good mixture of older singles, men and women, although there were more women. Itinerary was excellent in all cities. This is a fast paced tour with a lot of daily walking. I already have my next trip planned with EF Go Ahead. I highly recommend."

"Excellent tour guide. First class. hotels and meals. the 12 day trip to Egypt is really about 7.5 days when. you subtract travel to/from L.A. and internal flights in Egypt, but those 7.5 days were crammed with sights, etc. Urge for more time in the Valley of the Kings - 4 or 5 hours would work. But trip from Luxor to Aswan instead of cruise (because of Covid) was actually very interesting -- saw parts of Egypt (villages, etc.) you would not see on a boat! High marks for our guide Samia!21332"

"Over all it was a decent trip. Because of Covid, vendor supply issues, and the cancelation of the excursions that I was really wanted to go on (they were the reasons I went on this trip). Weather was also an issue in the morning. Some of the sights we went to see were covered in rain, fog, or mist. This included the Cliffs of Moher. I realize these issues were no fault of GAT, I just wish they would have giving me more advanced notice of the cancelations. With the exception of Scotland, the other were canceled within a week or two before the tour stated. Had I know this, I would have rebooked the tour until post Covid.
The tour director was AWESOME!!! He is an Irishmen and knew his history of Ireland. He gave us a semesters worth of information in 2 weeks time. I would really like to have him again. No complaints with Tom Quinn.
I would recommend this tour to anyone. I would wait until the pandemic is is over. I do plan on going on this tour again sometime in the future."

"Had a great experience on my first tour with Go Ahead. I thought the booking experience was efficient and the staff was great at answering any questions that I had from the time of booking all the way up to departure. The tour I took was cancelled twice due to Covid, but I had no issues with re-booking and they honored my original price. I liked that there were pre-departure Zoom calls to answer our questions about all the rules around traveling during Covid. They also went over the paperwork and the types of Covid tests required to enter the country. The Go Ahead app works well and I like that there is a place to communicate with others in your tour group and a place to share trip photos. I find the staff at Go Ahead is very professional and easy to work with. Will definitely travel with Go Ahead Tours again. "

"This trip was originally scheduled in March of 2020 when pandemic began. We were debating on whether to go 1.5 years later (when we had rescheduled naively thinking pandemic would be over) and decided to go for it. It was amazing. Each city was unique in a good way. Hotels were centrally located and could walk to main attractions easily. Dinners were yummy. Our tour director, Stefania, made the trip extra special. She was informative and had a nice sense of humor to put everyone at ease. Highly recommend this trip."
