"Overall the trip to China was very good. Few suggestions: For vegetarians please include a Pizza/sub way boxed lunch option. Reason being the way they serve lunch and dinner on a round table, many use the meat utensils to serve themselves the vegetarian items which is not welcome.
And in Shanghai please include a visit to the tower on the bund. Time allocated is too short to do any thing on our own. Even if we did the language barrier is so hard to overcome. Beijing visit was fabulous and so was the Yangtze river and terra cota warriors."

"This is the first tour I have taken since 2002. I usually travel alone renting apartments, and staying in one place no less than 5 days. This was quit a departure for me, practically living out of a suitcase. I did enjoy the tour though. It makes a big difference the group you are traveling with. The Ireland tour was a great fun group, kind and courteous, the pourtuguse group was not. I felt the tours where well organized, but more thought could have gone into the hotel selections."

"Yes, the tour director said this. She was lost coming out of a walking tour of somewhere that I don't recall. Her vast experience soon found the path to "the way" onward and few on the tour knew that there was a problem. It was seamless how she kept the group entertained and amused by sights "just around this corner."

"I was invited by good friends with 'Go Ahead' experience, to join them on the National Parks tour in August. It had been many years since I had been able to do any recreational traveling, and I had never been on a tour! What a wonderful experience! As a single traveler I felt very comfortable with our traveling party of 34, and by the end of the tour we all felt like old friends. Every detail was taken care of, right down to well timed 'rest stops'! Our guide Christine and driver Bret were so friendly and knowledgeable it felt like we were being cared for by true professionals. Just the right mix of guided touring and free time to explore on our own gave us a chance to choose from many available activities. Though I was a bit concerned about bus travel- our 'coach' was comfy and we had lots of chances to get out to stretch our legs, see the views along the way, and of course - shop the local treasures! Now that I've gotten a taste of what fun it is, I will planning another trip with Go Ahead in the near future!"

"On our recent August 20, 2016 tour of Ireland, 'yself and 3 traveling companions found ourselves with a "group tour" that all knew each other!
This was unexpected and I would NOT have chosen that date had I known it was 80% full with people that were all scrapbookers and knew each other.
The bad part is they knew there would be some "outsiders" on their group tour but we as the outsiders were not told which was very unfair.
I have another tour scheduled next year to Greece and I intent to find out if it will be random travelers as previous or a group which I did not like."
