Nightmare to deal with these guys

"My experience with Goedeker's has been horrible and painful. I bought a three piece sofa set for the amount $3,300.00. The delivery of which took more than 2 months and still not completed yet -- 1st time they delivered broken sofa and would not return instead they wanted to charge restocking cost of 20%. They use quite ill-behaved trucking company. It becomes customer's responsibility to call this trucking company and stay at their mercy as when they will deliver. I paid Goedeker's white-glove service fees, but these guys just move in the furniture inside my home and did not put it together -- left for me to assemble. Dumped all the packing materials on my driveway -- I had to pay junk pick-up these garbage. When I called customer service, they are they were the most rude people to deal with. I will urge you all consumers, please think twice before you make any purchase with these guys -- they take full payment up-front to trap you. Be careful of these fraudsters. Nightmare!! 2 out of 3 items are damaged with no options or return or exchange besides delayed delivery and horrible customer service.

"I regretted that I haven't had time to research on this company ahead of time during the stressful remodeling process. I share most of the negative experiences other customers had. Warning: Stay away from the company!!!!
Damages:
1. The delivery people helped us carry appliances to the 3rd floor along with the help of my husband and another person we hired. It was around 9 am. I was concerned about not having space for neighbors to walk through as well as delaying other deliveries. I asked them to take off the packages and help me check if there are any damages while my husband and the mover were moving remodeling supplies to the basement to make room for the three appliances in our one-bedroom condo. The delivery people said everything is ok with the dim light in the hallway. I used the light from my cell phone. Due to the dim light and how close they are to each other, I didn't notice there was a big dent on one side of the washing machine and scratches on the other. After we took out our door and move all the appliances inside the condo, with the bright skylight, we noticed there are scratches all over the front of the fridge. That's when I called Goedekers to report issues with the fridge and the washing machine.
2. A representative told me to email all photos to customer service. 2 Days passed. No responses. I called in on the 3rd day and unfortunately, I encountered Tiyana, which exacerbated the nightmare. She told me that there's nothing she can do right now because it's labor day weekend. She then asked me to send model and serial number, which I wasn't informed when I called 2 days ago. I called back after the holiday to follow up with her. I tried a few times through her colleagues to leave her messages for follow up. Through one of her colleagues, I heard Tiyana on the background giving out directions, stating that she didn't receive the model and serial numbers. Hence, I sent them in again. She didn't call me back as half of the day went by but was able to answer a call from me as a phone-in customer. There was no service in her customer service. Her style was demanding and rude. Towards the end, she said "I spent awfully a lot of time with you and I have other customers" and was about to hang up. I asked her to transfer me to a manager since she appears to be busy. She responded "all managers are busy." When I asked her to leave a note with the manager and let me know the time frame of the returned phone call. She refused to give any information and hang up the phone. This is truly unbelievable. I called back again right away and was able to reach a manager through another representative right away. This explains a lot about her approach.
3. I was told that I can't exchange or return them since they can't know who was responsible for the damages. Really, I regret that I was considerate of others at the time of delivery and assuming that the company will take care of the customers like most other companies, such as costco, amazon....

Delivery:
I was informed delivery will happen in 2 weeks. As a matter of fact, it almost doubled the delivery time like other stated. I wasn't informed that they will group all items together for them to be shipped all at one time. As you know, during remodeling time, significant delay usually makes the process more stressful and costly.

As of now, I am still not sure what are some options I have regarding the damaged appliances. Right now, Costco has the same fridge with lower price, a delivery within one week, free hook up and the amazing costco warranty + return policy. I am feeling so disappointed, drained and emotional with this order at Goedekers.

Your experience could well be positive if the delivery is not an issue and there's no damage but I recommend don't risk it if you could pay a little bit more for better customer service, safer delivery and higher quality.

worst experience..

"The following day I placed my order, I was informed it was backordered. If it was so easy to know, it could have been noted in your site before checkout.

I ordered two items, they delayed the delivery of the one in stock, until the backordered item made it to their warehouse, to make only one shipping,

they would not accept refunds on an order that is not delayed by any means for reasons I'm can be liable for
on top of that, I ordered through them because one of the items had a rebate. Now, because of the late shipment I will also lose the time frame for the rebate.

Carefull when you buy from goedekers

"If you find the product somewhere else a day later after the product was delivered don't care to price match. They got your money so they don't care!!! This company doesn't care about keeping costumers happy and have them come back. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!"

Terrible customer service

"Bought a new dryer and when I cut box open it was dented. I called and sent pics. They tell me they'll help me and then I hear nothing for days. So I email them. They tell me they'll help me then I hear nothing again. So I email them. I'm told the pics aren't good enough and the dent didn't look that bad. It's brand new! It's not supposed to have any dents! So I take another pic. Then I'm approved. Mind you this is taking 2 weeks at least. Then I get a notice to pack in original box that I cut open to get dryer out. It wasn't reusable. So then they basically tell me too bad it has to be boxed or they won't take it. Which means I don't get my dryer. Asked if I could use box from new dryer when they send it. They said no. I had to buy a box for $126 to box an already dented dryer. What a joke this place is! Christian company they say, ridiculous! "

Charged my card with NO OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW ORDER!!!

"I had no time to review my order and determine delivery time. Need to receive appliance early next week. Therefore i am on phone attempting to cancel my order. Never encountered an online store that cannot give me time an estimated time for delivery Now told it takes 3 to 5 days to credit back my credit card. Sorry i will not be using this company in the future. I see where there are “backorders” that turn into long delays. Basically it would appear that they make money “kiting” charges on credit cards. They apparently have no warehouse with items so in my opinion this is the equivalent of an online scam. I am prepared to call my credit card company and dispute cancel the charge. The lady i finally reached on the phone said “I would deliver it myself if i could.” Great consolation. You can’t deliver, won’t deliver so why is that supposed to make me feel better? You ask me for an invoice number and i don’t even have it because it is “still processing.” "

No Service or Warranty Assistance

"I purchased twice, both times items were backordered even though sales said they were in stock & ready to ship.

Waited for the first order Samsung refrigerator started having issues 3 days after delivery (delivery took 6 wks).
Samsung does not use licensed or trained repair techs, nor do they easily dispatch, they want you to spend hours on the phone with them.

Finally, after 4 hours on phone, Samsung told me that I should call the place I purchased and have them replace the refrigerator since it was only a few days old.

Gordekers told me it was "a Samsung problem", I asked for mgr, never heard back.

Since no assistance from Goedekers, I canceled the 2nd order from them still on backorder and my credit card is still waiting for refund 4 weeks later.

Never again, oh BTW, the extra warrant Gordekers included is WORTHLESS!

This is headed for lawsuit in very short order...

Back order items - Still waiting for my items

"I bought a dishwasher and microwave more than 3 weeks ago and have not received the items yet even though the day I placed the order I was told that the delivery would be in 2 weeks. I am selling my house and it is important to have the appliances in place.

The credit card was charged the same day!

In the middle of the process, I was told that one of the items was on back order. This was not mentioned when I purchased it.

They shipped the items to a third party for delivery who usually does not answer emails or phone calls. The delivery status is not updated frequently.

Goedekers customer service is not eager to help but very passive and rude.

Even though they have great prices the hassle of shipping has made this experience horrible and stressful. Don't go to Goedekers.
