"They take your money right away from your credit card and then somehow the order turns into backorder after 2 weeks and wait for 3 months to get the order, and when calling they give you all funniest excuses, bad service"

"We ordered a Samsung oven from Goedekers. The oven arrived on time, it was a great price, and was installed fine. However, the unit was defective. Samsung would not return or exchange the unit. Instead they insisted on continuing to try to repair it (remember, a brand new unit). Samsung customer support was terrible.
Goedeker's stepped in, worked with Samsung, gave us full credit for the unit, and we were able to purchase another unit (not Samsung). The customer service they provided was great. "
"I ordered a dishwaher from Goedekers on Saturday the 24th. They took the money almost immediately. On the 26th, I received notice that the manufacturer was going to ship it directly to me, and they would call 24 hours before delivery. Not ideal, but whatever. On the 29th, I received an email saying my item was backordered and I had two options: 1) Select a different model. Or 2) Wait. Since it took them 6 days to find out they didn't have what I ordered, I wasn't anxious to repeat it. Especially since I could find the exact model I want locally for just a bit more money. I told them to cancel the order. The sales rep said "It will take 3-5 business days for the money show up on the card."
Then I received an email:
"As requested, I have put in a request to cancel. Once this request has been approved we will then issue your refund. Please allow 3-5 business days to see this refund. In the mean time, please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns."
So I have to wait an indeterminate number of days to know "if" I will be allowed to have my money back. Then 3-5 business days to actually see the money. This has all the hallmarks of a scam--I'm not saying it is, but over-promise, under-deliver, then drag your feet on the refund is a classic. They are happy to take your money, whether or not they have, or can get, the product you purchased. I will update if/when there is resolution.
Update (2018.03.30):
Received notification that the order cancellation has been "approved". As of Saturday (2018.03.31), refund was not yet reflected in my account, but I will check again in "3-5 business days".
Update (2018.04.02):
Funds were deposited back to my account today. I'm satisfied that I was able to cancel the order in a reasonably timely manner. My final suggestion for Goedekers would be to review your order/reservation system. I know, in my case at least, you were just the go-between between me and the manufacturer. But 5 days is a bit long to wait before informing someone of a backordered product. Particularly in the case of a replacement appliance, people's lives can be disrupted considerably until a replacement arrives. It would be nice to know up front whether a product is available for shipment. Updated my rating to reflect my resolution. Unhappy I ultimately couldn't get the product. But satisfied it resolved. "
"I ordered a washing machine Maytag residential commerical top load with a five year warranty which is only available on line .i placed my order on March 23 my money $634 was withdrawn from my account .i made the mistake of giving the sales rep my credit card info over the phone .the dishonest sales person intentionally used a different shipping address and entered a incorrect email adress after four days I was told my order was declined for fraud and that I had a fraudenlt adress and credit card I called my bank and I was told that my account had been fraud and they canceled my card and opened a fraud investigation .then to add insult to injury the customer service manager told me that my order was canceled because I was abusive and had insulted his dishonest employee every time I was told a another lie from this dishonest den of thieves I am out $634 and a lot more money that was stolen from my credit card fraud in St. Louis county Missouri thank god master card has a protection guarantee .not only was this the worst experience of my life the company actually believes that the customer is always the problem and they spin the truth and never admit their dishonest practices . I urge anyone that reads this to have a red light go off in their brain and Nevwr to bussiness with this dishonest company I never received what I ordered and now my bank account is wiped out by this demonic company why would any manufacture do bussiness with such a dishonest company "
"The Maytag gas range price was better than any other on line. When the item arrived, it did was slightly smaller than the cut-out in the counter. Your people referred me to a company that made a template to fit the stove top. Outstanding"
"Not sure where to start with this review, but I feel obligated to inform buyers. I am a business owner who needed to furnish space in multiple units, so I chose Goedekers. Shipping took MUCH longer than promised (OK, I can live with that), the order was not properly coordinated with the delivery team, so I received multiple deliveries sometimes only a piece or two at a time. One order had a shattered dining room table, so that delayed me even further as it needed to be reordered. Delivery team did not want to take anything out of the boxes, which you will need to do to inspect for damages. If anything gets returned, they charge a very large shipping fee, which worked out to nearly the price of the item. Coordination between Goedekers and their delivery team not good at all. I had to go back and forth between Goedekers and AM Home delivery, each stating that I need to call the other. One delivery, despite paying for the White Glove, was dropped and left on the steps...in a major city....without even a call. Fortunately I had tenants that called me at 10:00 pm to let me know that large items where outside...I had to pay to send a crew to get the items inside immediately. Speaking of White Glove...despite paying for it, which each delivery, I had to CONVINCE the delivery team, that I PAID for the items to go inside the room of choice. Also remember, nothing will get set up for you so make sure you have time or the budget to pay more to have someone assemble......I can keep going....maybe your experience will be better."

"I placed an order on 2/23 for an item stating it'd ship 2/28. Writing this review on 3/16 and I am still waiting. I contacted the Goedekers very poor and unprofessional customer service to be told the item shipped a week ago. I can tell you the customer service agent literally placed me on hold for 30 minutes, returned to the call and said what are you holding for. I explained why she originally placed me on hold, she replied oh I had to take care of some other stuff I needed to do. I was placed on hold AGAIN for another rep to pick up and say what do you need, the original less than unprofessional rep returned to tell me the manufacturer was closed and I'll be contacted the following day with an order status update. I was NEVER contacted. I left a message on their online contact request with the details of my experience and I was only left a message on 3/12 the order shipped.
I recieved an email today the item was picked up by the freight company yesterday 3/15. You do the math on tge dates and false information provided from this horrible company. I contacted the freight company and the delivery might happen by the week of 3/26. May I also state Goedekers was VERY quick to process the payment on 2/23. I was never offered any type of compensation for any troubles. I will NEVER order from this place again nor would I recommend them to even order free product."

"I ordered GE Cafe appliances; an oven, microwave, dishwasher and hood vent. The price was great but I have two different fonts for the “Cafe” logo, three diffent syles of the GE logo, and diffent display colors on the mircowave and oven which sit in the same appliance garage. Goedeckers says it is because of the different years the appliamces were manufactured. The dishwasher does not completely dry dishes and after reading several online reviews, this is a persistent problem with Cafe and Monarch models. "
