"This item was close to a month between ordering (and being charged) and shipping. I could not get any shipping information from the Goedeker's or AM Home Delivery tracking, which showed "pending" for a long time. Item arrived and was damaged, crushed on top (under a blanket of sound insulation). It was only evident when installed and top rack could not be pulled out. Only suggestion from Goedeker's was to "take a photo from a distance that showed the damage." Of course a photo from a distance would show nothing more than what was visible before installation (which was nothing), and it would have required uninstalling the thing. In the end, we simply hammered and pushed the top back up into place. It looks crinkled but it works. So, our new $1399 dishwasher looks like it was run over by a truck. "

I Literally stumbled into the website of Goedeker’s Reading a reviews of companies and brands that we were interested in. Primary the brand was of more interest to me than was the retailers. We had all but decided which local big box store we were to purchase from, Depending on delivery and price.
The one thing That continued to surface Was that this appliance and furniture store that I had never heard anything about before Goedeker’s. The reviews were such that I was sure they were written by an advertising person
From within the store. As I read on I discovered they were written by customers that purchased and very pleased with the product, service and of course price. This well known home magazine was primary Writing about internet purchasing.
I started to tell my wife about this article and She told me that she was not interested in purchasing over the internet. I convinced her to let me call the store and see what I could find out. Upon making the call I found that I really didn’t have much to say.
The gentlemen that was speaking to really took over the conversation and answered all of my questions and much more before I could ask them. He even answered those I hadn’t thought of yet.
Before the end Of that call I had placed the order. Keep In mind that I Still Need needed to Telll my wife.
Well the story ends very quickly. The refrigerator was delivered AnD installed a Week later. That’s 920 miles. “Hard to believe” No problems and still no questions to ask. We are both very happy with the purchase.
