"I shipped 13 boxes of personal effects from Toronto to Mountain View CA. Navis picked them up from inside my house and delivered them inside an apartment in Mountain View. Navis handled all the interactions with US customs. The boxes were not damaged in any way and there were no issues with US customs. My interactions with Navis were all by email and telephone. The Navis person (Bernice) was professional, polite, patient and helpful. I am 100% satisfied."
"I inherited a priceless WWII artifact when my Dad passed away that had no better place to be shown that at the National Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, VA. I dropped off the artifact with Navis and they boxed it up, shipped it, and delivered it to the Museum without incident. I was able to track the shipment every step of the way. I would absolutely use their services again and would recommend them without reservation to anyone needing to Pack & Ship anything."
"Navis was the sole shipping partner (monopoly) for an online auction I bid in. It was impossible to have any ballpark pricing information as the shipping weight was unknown prior to signing their contract, everything was just a guess. Moreover they had me guess and itemize everything by size and weight- for an auction over 1000 miles away. Wow, what service! I get to do their job for them! In the end what was expected to cost $200-300 eventually cost $1100 due to unexpectedly high weight. I absolutely would have been able to ship all of this for about $300 in several USPS flat-rate boxes which are flat rate for weight up to 70 lbs. They use their own service which puts everything in one big package. Upon delivery, which took about a month to go halfway across the country, signature was required and delivery hours were restricted to during business hours. Won't be using them ever again nor will I be bidding on similar auctions. Learned that lesson. Hope you have lots of money and don't have a job if you have to use Navis! Really it's set up for commercial customers and that's it."
