"The store was a little cramped with little room to move between racks, and I had to detour several times toget from one place to another due to another shopper in the small amount of space between racks. The clerk at the register was friendly, but I was not in contact with any other sales person during the visit. At one time I shopped at Goody's quite a bit but due to decreased quality in some brands and higher prices for the quality brands, I have shopped there less during the last few years."
"The associate on the register did not answer my question. She merely looked at me and said, Enter your phone number on the touchpad. She never smiled at me although I tried to be cordial. She hardly acknowledged my presence. She has seen me in the store before and knows that I almost always make a purchase before leaving. I felt slighted and embarrassed by HER behavior toward me. I don't expect to fawned over, but I do expect to be shown respect and consideration. When I asked about using a coupon, she finally said this item ends with .98. I explained that shoe display showed $70. The price was close to what it would have been with the 40% off; however, she was not in the least polite about it. Since this is the only Stage store at which I ever shop, I cannot compare it with others, but if this is how this store's representatives treat other customers, then I don't think I really want to visit others."
"My general experience was good. I was able to use coupons and saved more than I expected. The only part that I don't like about the coupons is that you cannot use them on items that end in 98 cents."
