"I had a % off coupon online and cashier said since there are new owners that took over they don’t accept any kind of coupons unless it’s your birthday or rewards points. This really upset me as I shop at Gordmans quite a bit and have never had my coupons denied"

"This was my first visit to this Gordmans in over a year. It was great! I went for one pair of shoes and bought 3! Great selection, prices and atmosphere. I could have shopped for hours! My only issue that was disappointing and discouraging was the end at checkout. I was on a time crunch and needed to quickly pay for my items and get going, and was held up by the associate at checkout. There was no line and no waiting which was great; however, the staff member who checked me out was really pushy and insistent that I take out the Gordman's credit card. I have a really high credit rating and want to keep it that way, and although the incentives are great I have no desire to take out any new credit cards. I was very disappointed that my time at the checkout counter was at least doubled by having to listen to the credit card information for way too long. I had to tell her no less than seven times during the checkout that I didn't want to apply for the credit card today. I was super bummed and felt really pressured at the end, and was disappointed that I couldn't just check out of the store in a normal fashion, but instead it felt like a high pressure time share event! Not sure if I will go back to this particular Gordmans because of it which is disappointing because otherwise my experience was awesome. I think being asked once at the beginning of the checkout is enough, and not that annoying, but having to continue to say I don't think so or no I don't want to today or thank you but no over and over during the checkout and being made to feel under a lot of pressure to take out the credit card is not good.
