"This is the second time that I have written a review for GovGroup and I rarely write reviews at all. Recently, I have had the chance to have a conversation with Andy, (who I later discovered was the CEO) and got a sense for the people behind the website. In this day and age, transacting business online is faceless and impersonal, which makes it difficult to establish trust and loyalty. What I have discovered is that these are honest guys, doing a great job to build a low cost, high service option for reducing their customer's expenses.

Being an independent, cost, quality and customer service and responsiveness are very important to me; therefore, I research every purchase to ensure that I am getting the best bang for my buck. GovGroup.com has impressed me every time, even when I had to return a product compromised during shipping (I had a new monitor shipped to me faster than I could return the damaged one). Literally, there were zero questions asked.
My latest purchase was a high-quality home/office dual-band network router. When I determined the exact model number that I wanted, and got a sense of what they go for online, I was thrilled to discover that it was $5 cheaper than the best price I could find with such companies as NewEgg, Tiger Direct, eCost or MWave (I have used them all). No, $5 is not a lot, but it matters. My router was at my door in less than 24 hrs.

"I think it shady when someone hits your card before they ship your product. In my order confirmation, it says projected ship date 2-3 weeks but they promptly charged my card. Resellers shouldn't offer volume pricing on things they don't have in stock. Additionally when one calls customer service the phone goes into a queue and then caller is slammed into a phonemail box and asked to leave a message. The queue says there's one caller ahead of you, but within a few moments your told to leave a message, inspite of chosing to wait for the next available rep. Doesn't matter what time of day one calls, it's the same result. SHADY SHADY SHADY"
