"easy. well designed. do not need 25 characters"
"I found it easy and simple."
"Easy to use and fast service, Thanks"
"Very quick. No problems at all.
I am revising my rating as I had a problem and sent several emails (their form) and they have not answerd."
"It was very fast, but I did not realize this was not government related even though it did have it in small print. It would have been nice to get this information before you hit submit or at least a reminder that this is not an IRS related website.
"
"It was fast and easy to apply for our EIN # was a good experience. I would do this again. Thanks you!"
"I found your services to be efficient and easy to understand. The turn around time was very quick."
"I, perhaps like a few others who rated GovSimplified low, feel this organization misrepresents itself. I feel the term Gov or US should not be allowed use by privately or publicly owned companies, only official government agencies. I applied for my EIN #, on the November 7, 2014. I went online thinking GovSimplified was a government site since it popped up when I googled "Apply for EIN". When I realized, 2 days later, they were not, IRS, it was too late. I had already entered my vital data and paid $129.00 fee. I did not receive my EIN until Nov. 18th, 11 days after the initial application. I had to contact them consistently by phone for status updates on my application. They NEVER called me. When there was a problem, a supervisor was NEVER brought onto the call. Reps would put me on hold for about 5 minutes or more and return stating they spoke to their supervisor. In total I've called GovSimplified, 7-8 times and have NEVER spoken to a manager or supervisor. On, November 10th, I called for status update. The young woman who answered said I needed to send my articles of incorporation. As a 1 person LLC, articles of incorporation is not required. Kirby, the rep, should have known that, instead she insisted that is what was required. So, I hung up and called again getting another rep saying the same thing. Finally a 3rd call yielded a rep who apologized that I was mis-informed. She too spoke to a supervisor, came back on the phone and said, due to their reps incorrect information request it has delayed the process. GovSimplified offered to refund $60.00 back to my card, and they did. I agreed to accept and moved forward. After telling me everything was okay and I should receive my EIN within the next 4-6 days, later that same day, I received an email request to provide my digital signature. At this point I was done and refused to supply GovSimplified with any additional data. I became uncomfortable and suspicious that this may not be a legitimate, reputable company, and they now have my vital data. I contacted my AG's office and the State Secretary's office. I was given recommendations on what to do and where to file complaints. They also advised that I should be very careful providing my vital data to online companies. On Nov. 18th, I called GovSimplified for the last time, insisting on knowing what my EIN app status was and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was put on hold and then told all supervisors were busy, but, a supervisor was processing my app, would get back to me within an hour. About an hour or so later, my EIN number came through the email. No supervisor contacted me but the last rep. with whom I spoke that day, Naomi, called my office and left a message that my EIN # app was completed and I should have received the online document with my EIN #. How convenient. In this company's favor, I will say, every agent with whom I spoke Kirby, Deshonna (2 times), Quantecia, (3 times) and Naomi, were all polite and very courteous, especially Quantecia. Readers, your and my information is more valuable than whatever we pay GovSimplified or any company. BTW the IRS provides this for FREE. Our information now resides in GovSimplified's database for the life of this companys' existence. Is it SAFE? It could be compromised or sold. Who knows! There is no face of GovSimplified, no names and no direct contact numbers only an 888 "catch All" #. We're dealing with owner/owners who hide behind their reps. Identity theft is real and our information could be compromised. Next time, (if ever such occurs), I will do my due diligence first. The 2 star rating is because their representatives were very, very polite, but, I've learned my lesson....BEWARE and BE AWARE! "
"I needed an estate EIN to setup a checking account for my Mom's estate after her death. I had never setup and EIN and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of setting it up on-line."
"found this site rally easy to perform the necessary steps I needed to take to fill out anSS-4 form. with very quick results in getting necessary information back very timely"
"Improvements are needed in the follow-up with new applications. I initially applied for an EIN on Nov. 4, 2014, with an expected receipt within 3 days. My credit card was charged immediately. However, due to a limitation on the number of characters in the entity name, I was requested to make a modification. I used the contact information to reply with the requested change. After not having the information confirmed, I did a follow-up on Nov. 7th or thereabouts, using the contact information , and I still did not receive an acknowledgment. My follow-up on today, Nov. 19, 2014, by telephone, resulted in an immediate response. Thanks to Naomi, your representative, I received the EIN. "
