"I looked everywhere for this apartment size refrigerator without a freezer at a good price. All the retailers were too far up at the top MSRP. It was nerve racking that Discount Bandit was the best price. Did some reading and realized they are just an intermediary. I'm sure there is a way they make money from the retailers for giving better prices... dunno why they can't just do that off the top for buyers but OK. That's economic freedom. lol. I'm rambling.

Anyway, global shortage, yadda yadda, Danby needed to make it since there weren't any even made except one in Arizona a retailer wanted to sell for over $1000. Oh no. So I went ahead and did it at Discount Bandit who sent me to "Varouj", one of the retailers I wished I could buy from. March 3, 2022. A refrigerator at a scary unusual website some people had a bad experience at. But it worked. It understandably took about 2 months. Varouj, through local delivery company in SoCal, delivered first week of May. And the delivery company didn't damage it. Even scheduling the delivery was responsible. A little confusing at their website and a long time waiting on hold, but responsive once on the line. And now I have a sweet af red Danby refrigerator with black interior at a lower price hot off the assembly line. Still high bc 2022, but not MSRP.

I think MAYBE some people with bad experiences didn't understand how this works. And MAYBE it was at the beginning of global shortages so they didn't understand the wait yet. MAYBE. And then there are people who just are never happy and also legit problems every company has. OK thanks. :)"
