Get out your magnifying glass!

"Hello,
I ordered Christmas Cards from Greeting Card Universe and was happy with the delivery time (very quick) and the quality of the print and card stock. However, the writing on the inside was so small it was difficult for a person with 20/20 vision to read. I realize that I may have been in control of the font size, but on the computer screen it looked just right.

Wondering if anyone in quality control noticed how tiny the font was and perhaps could have increased or sent an email or phone call to verify accuracy?

I probably would not order from this company again.

“Hi Kathy. I'm really sorry you had issues with your order, and totally agree that the selected font is clearly too small.

The default font size was 20 on this card, but whoever placed your order had changed the font size to 12, which is not recommended. In fact, when reducing the font size, our site displays the following warning message:
WARNING: The Edwardian typeface will be difficult to read at any size smaller than 20

Also, to move to the next step, our site prompts you to check a box to "Approve" the card layout:
I approve. My card inside will print exactly as shown above.

Those are the steps we take to make sure the shopper is 100% satisfied with their changes. We do not review the orders, as its an automated process where tens of thousands of different cards are printed each day.

Satisfaction (almost) guaranteed

"I really liked the choice of design and flexibility for personalising my cards, which GCU offered. Very happy with the outcome.
My only reservation is around timing of the delivery. Although I was quoted 3-5 working days for delivery from the UK to Poland, it took 7 working days. As a result, the cards arrived too late for me to post.
It's a real shame as I was looking forward to posting them to business partners, but I missed the opportunity to do so. Also, as I specified 2017 in the greeting, I cannot use them next year; so a waste of my money.
I will make sure I order my cards earlier next year.

For the money - best deal out there!

"Huge variety, extremely well made and best of all reasonable, not sure you can ask for more. Fast delivery and easy to use website. The selection is amazing, I had to get a sympathy card in Italian and a birthday card with a Golden Doodle on it, they had many selections of both- wow!"

“I'm very sorry to hear you were not 100% pleased with your order. I do show that UPS unfortunately experienced a delay due to weather but that your order was still delivered within our promised 4-9 business days.
In regards to the quality of the print, this is very important to us. Did you reach out to our customer service? We are more than happy to look further into this and have had your cards reprinted.
We do have someone who spot checks the quality of cards, unfortunately, with the high volume of holiday cards some may have slipped through. We did address this and stressed the importance of not letting such things slip through.

Speedy service but cards lack quality

"I was impressed how quickly the cards came, but the quality is poor and the cards have an unpleasant chemical smell. I will use them to write thank you notes, but not for the special occasions I chose them for. Would have paid more for better quality."
