"I am very pleased with Gun Dog Supply. They were very responsive to all my inquiries from my first concerning shipping to Hawaii to my last concerning the wrong size sent.
I ordered a dog training collar size 24" for my GSD a 5 month old pup. I ordered it large to avoid having to order additional links as my dog grew. I ordered it on the 17th and it arrived on the 19th...talk about quick. However I was sent a 19" collar, which was no problem as it was still large enough for my pup...I actually had to remove two links. A short email to Gun Dog Supply and they sent me the extras links, no problems. I am not a hunter, but if they stock an item I need I will certainly have no hesitation in dealing with them again.
For anyone interested in the Herm Sprenger nech tech collar, it is a solid collar. If you get the Martindale version like I did, and have to remove links, be forwarned that the collar can choke your dog notwithstanding it is a martindale style collar.. so either use it on the dead ring so that it can't constrict or consider the neck tech with the buckle."
