"As with previous comments, the order processing time does seem excessive, however the shipment arrived well packaged and intact - with one small exception.

A pack of thumb screws that I ordered was blue, instead of the silver ones that I specified. Upon notifying the vendor a friendly sales person responded within minutes, apologized and informed me that the correct ones would be sent to me and that I should keep the blue ones at no cost for my inconvenience. True to their word they were in my box today. Because of this - if I'm not in a BIG rush to get my order - I will not hesitate to purchase from them again."

"They used bait and switch to up the price after the sale. As if that wasn't enough, they waited five days to inform me that the processor was on backorder; they only did it then because I emailed them. Will NOT do business with again!!"

I purchased and AMD Athlon XP 3000+ from this company. The price was competitive and the service was satisfactory. Upon placing my order I received a conformation but it took 2 days to process. This isn't bad service, however, if you are in urgent need of a replacement then simply go to a retailer or CDW--they specialize in urgent delivery. This company will deliver on the scheduled time which all together should take no more than 7 business days. Once shipped, the company promptly sent me a shipping notice email. Overall, I am pleased with the service at the price I paid. Upon administering a PRIM95 burn in test for over 48 hours, I detected no errors. So to SUMMARIZE: Competitive price, delivery process very satisfactory, product well packaged for shipping."

"Thoroughly satisfying experience. The software I purchased was "as advertised". My customer rep told me it would take up to 2 days to ship, but it went out that same late afternoon, and I received it three days later (the same day that my 30 day free trial expired). "

"I ordered an athalon XP 3000 on 8/19/04 after checking the web site and seeing that they had it "in-stock". Five days later I still had not recieved confirmation that my order had been processed, and noticed that it was still "on-hold". I sent them an e-mail asking how long it took them to process an order. On the 25th I got an e-mail telling me that thay had just recieved thier shipment of processors they were supposed to recieve last week and my order would ship as soon as it arrives. I sent them another e-mail that said thier web site showed it as being in stock when I ordered it and still showed it as being in stock as of the 25th. They sent me an email telling me that thier shipment was only a partial shipment and would ship tomorrow (26th),
followed by another e-mail telling me they could not verify the address on my credit card. I changed my shipping address on my credit card on the 18th (before I placed my order so this would NOT be a problem). I called them on the 26th to clear up the credit card problem, and was told by someone named Mat that to the best of his knowledge my order would ship tomorrow, he was also still telling me that they were not "in-stock" and would not guarantee me that it would ship on the 27th. I have ordered from them before without a hitch but after this experience
It is doubtful I will ever order from them again.
I still have to wait untill tomorrow (27th) to see
if they will ship it or not, and I have to call them on my dime todo so. It took over 3 weeks of runarounds with them, but I finally recieved my
athalon XP 3000, the chip runs fine, however I will never do busness with these clowns again, goto newegg instead I have ordered from them at least 5 times, never a problem and they wont lie on thier web site if they don't have something in stock."

"Cheapest prices I could find off pricewatch. Customer service was prompt and friendly. However, the fast shipping they claimed was false. It took over one week(7 businees days) to receive my cathode light kit. The so called "Lightening delivery speed." they claim on the pricewatch ad is pretty much false advertisement. If you are not in a hurry to receive something, then they do offer a good deal."

"Took FAR too long to process order. Honestly how long could it take to punch in my credit card, charge me 5 bucks, and mail me a 3.5g syringe of arctic silver? 4 days is rediculous. Also, note that the phone staff lies, I was told Monday my item would ship Tuesday. It didn't ship until Thursday. The first time I asked how long delivery would take, I was informed 3 days. The second time I asked, I was quoted 1.5 weeks. Dissatisfies, will go with The EGG next time and not worry about the 2 bucks I saved."

I had quite a few issues with their tech support. Some RAM I purchased from them (Winbond 1GB (512MBx2) Dual Channel PC3200 CAS 2.0) went bad and it also happened to stop being manufactured. The first gentleman I spoke with said that I'd have to send it in and they'd send it to a repair firm to try and fix it. If that didn't work, they would replace it with comparable memory. Even though that would take about a month, I accepted. I called again the next day to ask for a little more info on what was going on, only to be notified that "they don't just replace RAM if they don't carry it anymore". They said I was pretty much out of luck. After about 5 phone calls, I finally got someone who said differently. He checked some things out and told me I'd be able to get my RAM replaced... So after almost two weeks of phonecalls and headaches, I'm getting my RAM replaced :) (Thanks Rob)."

"I ordered Arctic Silver Paste on 1 Aug 04 (at the same time I ordered a video card from NEWEGG.COM).
I got the Video Card on 4 Aug 04, I got the paste today, 9 Aug 04. You do the Math. The didnt process my order until the day the video card was delivered. Great prices but in my case, lousy shipping and processing. Ironically enough, the smallest thing I ordered to build my new system took the longest to get here. I have been waiting for 5 days for this thermal paste so I can build it. While probably a good company, I doubt I will use them again."

"Was looking for thumbscrews did a search on google it showed me a link for pricewatch where i found these guys. Never heard of them so i checked them out here saw the over 9 rating and decided to order. Ordered a package of thumb screws and 2 round ata wires. Place order friday morning got the items monday afternoon. Couldn't be happier. Ups ground is 10x better than the morons over at fedex. Cables work great and the thumscrews are just what i wanted."

"My experience with Hardcorecooling.com is one of mixed emotions. I ordered 3 items from them and chose 2 day air shipping as I needed them in two days for a build. A PC4000 Dual channel 1GB kit, advertised as 2.5 CAS, a 512 stick of PC3200 (Both of these their generic brands) and a 7g set of arctic silver epoxy. First off I was excited to get this stuff as great prices. Unfortunately just about nothing else went off well. After waiting 3 days for anykind of word about my order I finally emailed them and asked what the hold up was. They informed me that they were still waiting on their shipment of PC4000 and it could be the next week before it got there. Since it was already too late for my build I cancelled the 512 stick and they obliged me quite well. They also waived my shipping fee and refunded me for the shipping and 512 Stick. I ended up waiting 2 weeks for my order, the RAM had got held up in customs apparently. After all this I finally get my order and I find out my PC4000 isn't CAS 2.5 but instead is CAS 3. The epoxy was fine. After trying out the RAM in my machine I couldn't get it to work over 450 MHz DDR at the default timings. It does work quit well at 400 MHz at 7-3-3-2 timings, but I could have bought PC3200 rated at those timings for the same price. The problems with the speed might be on my end, and not with the RAM but I am not sure. While I probably won't buy from them again, they did handle the problem, which wasn't entirely their fault. Sure they didn't let me know my order was going to delayed until I contacted them and they did send me out crappier RAM than advertised but they did try their best to make me happy. "
