"I ordered a Wooden CD Cabinet. The Box was unopened for 3 months since i was remodeling the Living Room. When I opened the Box I notices that the Doors were severely out of line and would not close properly and looked off-kilter. I explained the matter to the Customer Service at Herrington and was treated very rudely. I mentioned that as soon as the cabinet came out of the box, I notified them. Did not matter. I pointed out that I have been a loyal customer and spent several thousand dollars from ordering from the catalog. Did not matter. I said that all I want is a replacement of a defective product. Rude Come back. I mentioned that I will NEVER order from this company if they do not resolve the matter. Customer service did not care and laughed me off. The Laugh is on you Herrington. I kept my promise and have not ordered anything since. Obviously, I am not the only one who feels this way about your Elitist and Arrogant Company."

"I had shopped at Herrington's for years with good luck. When I returned an item last week, it was shipped back to me with "REFUSED" stamped on the box. When I called customer service, the number was disconnected. Same thing when I called the number to place an order (I just wanted to see if anybody picked up). The "Return Policy" on their website lists "All sales final." I wouldn't buy anything from this place anymore."

"I ordered some slippers for my husband for Valentine's Day. Their sizing is not normal, the slippers were too small. I had to pay to return them and asked for the next size. They didn't have them so I asked for a credit which I have yet to received two months later. Because they couldn't fulfil the order, the least they could do is cover the shipping or a part of it so you don't get charged twice. "I received the St. Tropez Bathrobe (item HS571NVY) that I ordered. I tried it on and it was laughable. The sleeves came to 2 inches below my elbow, it was narrow across the shoulders and the length was very short.
The description in your catalog says "comfortable for everyone from 5'2" to 6'3". I am 6'2" and there is no way that this is true. When I asked about a return label, I was told that it would cost $7.95. So, no matter what I do, I have to pay the postage twice! I seriously doubt that I will be ordering anything from them again.

"I ordered 3 pairs of MBT shoes. I have several pairs and ordered the same size but theirs didn't come close to fitting. I received 2 pairs, tried them on,didn't fit and sent them back. The 3rd pair I refused the package assuming they wouldn't fit either. I received credit for the pair that was refused but not for the other 2. I called the company and they told me they couldn't find my return. After much searching, I found my tracking number and called them back. I was finally issued credit for $210.85, almost a month after they received my return. I don't think I would've gotten credit if I hadn't called and if I hadn't found my tracking number. What a bad company."

I received the items promptly but one , a pair of shoes, was defective.I was told I could rfe-order but my card would be charged and they would issue a credit immediately when the defective pair was returned. I agreed. I got a return autorization and returned them on April 8th. They were received on April 14th. On May 3rd I called customer service and asked why I had not received credit. I was told it would be processed within 5 working days. I called again today, May 16th and was told it will be processed today - let's see! I will not deal with this company again."
