"Let me start off by saying that if you have any question about their business practices, rest easy. They are all good believe me.

In DEC09 I ordered a Polk CSiA6 from them. I did my research for months before finally making the decision to go with Polk. Once I stumbled onto their website and saw the extremely competitive prices for the CSiA6 I couldn't pass that opportunity up. If you can find merchandise with prices this good for brand new non-refurbished audio gear prove it! As far as the shipping process went, everything was smooth for me. And I live in Texas which is quite a distance from their location. They gave me a tracking number the day of my purchase and I received my center channel two days ahead of the scheduled delivery date.

Then I ordered a pair of RTiA4 Polk surrounds in FEB10. Like I said before, I had no issues throughout the entire process. Just like before they got me the speakers in a timely manner. I hope they start carrying Pioneer receivers because there is this one I have been looking at for a while that just came out and if there is any site that can get it at a good price its them.

I plan to be a regular with them.

"High Decibels offered excellent pricing. My order for a Polk center speaker was promptly acknowledged and a shipping confirmation and UPS tracking number were sent one day after the order was placed. Unfortunately things went downhill from here. I checked the UPS site and one week later UPS still showed that the package had not left the shipper. I was also concerned because the shipper was listed as Safe and Sound. I had no knowledge of Safe and sound and no contact information for Safe and Sound was given. There was no response to my first email to High Decibels so I sent a second email and left a voice mail to cancel the order. High Decibels responded to the second email, located the speaker that had been sitting on a loading dock for a week and called to confirm the shipment. I received the speaker the next day. There seems to be some internal communication problems. If High Decibels and Safe and Sound are one in the same this should be made clear on the website and order acknowledgement. The lack of a phone number and address on the web site also makes the company seem fly by night. I had to do some research to find a phone number for High Decibels.

While High Decibels did all in their power to rectify the situation once I alerted them to it, I do not think it should be the buyers responsibility to bulldog an order. I have found other sellers with competitive pricing and will probably not use High Decibels when I upgrade my surround speakers later this year.

"I ordered a set of Seinnheiser headset for my work phone. I've read mixed reviews, so I'm not sure what to expect. So far I have sent an email asking about the status, and I was given a reply notifying me that they received my request and my order was shipped today Feb 16, 2010 and that a tracking number will be provided in another email. I will keep everyone updated. So far so good...



Well the customer service dept did their job. They answered my questions. Always through email though, there is no actual published phone number to call...

I was very disappointed with the product however. Not sure if this is a Sennheiser problem or a High Decibels problem. Basically, the headset I ordered did not look anything like the website picture. Not sure if High decibels shipped me a cheaper, possibly knock-off, version of the headsets I wanted. I am willing to bet that is the case. Over all, the reviews that say this company is terrible don't seem valid. Personally, I wouldn't buy from them because things seem to take forever, and there is no published number. I like customer service, and I like being able to know I can contact them anytime , instead of waiting for an email. BUT they definitely did answer all my questions, especially after I posted my initial review haha. They provided an order number, and a tracking number. Their online chat support sent me an email as well. So considering that they did send me the product, and did send me a pre-paid return receipt, I don't think they deserve a failing grade. They just don't have the products that make me satisfied.

"Interestingly, my review from yesterday was removed.

Ordered a speaker from highdecibels.com on 1/28/10 and received email that order was received and it may take 3-5 business days to ship. Note, I received this email. It was not blocked by any SPAM blocker.

As of 2/4/10 I had not heard anything from highdecibels.com so I sent this an email asking basically, "What's up with my order." No response.

Yesterday, 2/14/10 I sent them an email canceling the order since I had received no communication since initial email confirming my order. Then I left a negative review here citing no communication.

This morning I magically received three emails from them. They stated that they had emailed a couple of times, but my SPAM blocker must have blocked the communication. Ummm, the initial email came through w/out being blocked. The three this morning, by some miracle, came through w/out being blocked. Umm, okay, lame excuse.

Sure, they did not charge my credit card. But the fact that there was no communication made me highly suspicious. I don't have time to check my credit card statement every day to insure I'm not being charged all of a sudden, but no product delivered.

If they had simply sent me an email saying there would be a delay, that would have been enough, but to send absolutely no communication for over two weeks is unacceptable.

"I purchased an Adcom GFP-715 preamp and made my payment on January 22nd 2010, seven days later the money was still in my account, no email or any attempt at communication was made by the company as of that time, I went to the website where it stated that they no longer carried the preamp, that's it, no email to me stating that they would not be able to fill the order, NOTHING WHATSOEVER from them, my advice is to forget about ordering anything from them, they don't have any idea what customer service is, the lights are on but nobody's home. "

"Horrible company. I ordered my product and was immediately sent a confirmation email. After no further communication from them (and no shipment or product) I emailed to ask for a status. They responded promising an order status, but 11 days later I have received nothing. They have ignored 3 other attempts to contact them and will not respond. This seems like it has happened a number of times. Hopefully someone will read this before trying to buy from them."

"I ordered a 52" Samsung television from High Decibels on November 18, 2009 and recieved it on Tuesday December 2. The television was in perfect condition when it was delivered and is of exceptional quality. They offered the product at a price that was $500 less than the national department stores so it was a no-brainer. The only issue that we had with our buying experience was the lack of feedback when waiting for the item to be shipped. I had to ask for a status update several times before I actually received a tracking number. Overall, the experience was positive and I would gladly use this vendor again."
