"I ordered a Panamax M5300-PM power managment unit. I got an email saying i ordered it on july 3rd, on july 7th i got en email sayin it had been shipped, that took a week. the unit got here and it was an older unit that was defective. I know because i had bought the same unit from best buy, and planned to return it once i had this unit. I got it and there were problems with the unit, the company said they would send me a new one which took over a week, and did get what seems to be a new unit and hasnt had but 1 problem with a USB power connection. I dont think i plan on useing this company again...


After reading the reply to this. I believe the dates may still be incorrect as it took a while, but the defective unit very well could have caused the problem. They did in fact 'do the dirty work' lol for me and get me another unit which I can happily say is on right now and working fine as far as I can tell. If all was a simple coincidence then they are a alright company and I cant say anything bad, but the fact is there was an issue, of who's fault I don't know...

"Horrible store. Purchased a USB switch from them on September 3rd, 2009. No phone number listed on website. Ignores emails. Its been almost three weeks and no confirmation of shipping, no merchandise, no communication at all except the initial order confirmation. Think twice before giving these guys and money. Now I get to dispute the PayPal payment and see where that gets me.

I also find it curious that almost all of the "Positive" feedbacks recently occurred on the same day...and same week. That's mighty convinent and smells fishy to me to say the least.

"I ordered Polk speakers TC265i, there was some difficulty with shipping initially but the customer service was prompt and more than willing to work with you to solve the problem. Responds to email almost immediately.Got the speakers-new, I have not tested them yet."

"I ordered a 55" Samsung Led TV and a Sanus wall mount system from High Decibels.com. My order was shipped 2 working days later. I was not billed for my order until after it had shipped and I had received my tracking Number.I received my order( white glove delivery)on the day it was promised. Prior to my order I had a few questions which I submitted by e-mail and they were quickly answered. I am very satisfied with the whole process! I will soon order a Samsung Blu Ray player from High Decibels. Great Job!! Thanks"

"This company took over 3 weeks to claim they mailed out the speakers I purchased from them, and provided a tracking number, but the speakers never arrived. After a number of emails from them attempting to intimidate me, i turned everything over to paypal, and won the dispute. DO not do business with this company. They will cause you more harm, and more time then its worth."

"I searched Google for the best price on a Sanyo Rear view camera and found high decibels, Sound Enterprises or Mose distribution (many alias this company works under). I placed my order and got a confirmation the next day. About 2 weeks later nothing so I began to call the 800 number. Most of the time the answering machine comes on. Finally I got thru to a younger guy who told me he would email me 30 minutes later with an order update. Nothing, then I got an older guy who told me the camera was coming from AZ and would arrive on a Wedneday (remember this is already almost 3 weeks later) nothing. On lie after another, I don't have a problem with delays but soon it will be 30 days since I placed the order, about 10 phone calls, always another lie about something but no product. SURE they charged my charge card. I would suggest you NOT use this vendor, they sound like an outfit run by 1 or 2 people in a garage or apartment. Don't count on customer service or fast shipping. You'll end up like me with a bill and no product. Shame on you guys"

"Based on some of the ratings I've seen for HighDecibles I was afraid things would turn out badly, but I have received my product in a timely manner at a very low cost.

I ordered a Kenwood DVD/GPS head unit on Sunday 04/06. I immediately received an order receipt e-mail. However, I didn't get any notice on Monday... then I read a bad review and got nervous.

On Tuesday (04/08) I nervously sent an e-mail asking for status. On Wednesday I got a generic e-mail that the item had shipped that included the tracking number. However, the tracking number did not work.

I tried the number Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and still had no information from UPS. On Saturday (04/12) I sent an e-mail inquiring about the tracking number. That afternoon (!) I received a response indicating that the item had indeed shipped and the tracking number was again set. Looking at the number it was obvious that the original number was missing a digit. I checked the new number and it worked.

I received the unit today (04/14). It was new in the box and included all accessories and manuals. I was able to register the unit with Kenwood.

Overall I am pleased with the prices offered and the product I received. I think they could work on their communications and I suppose there could have been less shipping delay, but overall I am a happy customer.

"Somewhat satisfied: Placed an order for a Polk subwoofer and got a pretty good deal, but they took forever to ship it. They definitely need to work on their customer satisfaction skills. I was in no hurry, so I could wait. But, if you want something very soon, then this is not the place you wanna shop."

"Worst place I've ever tried to deal with, period. Placed the order and got an e-mail stating they would be in touch about the order. Didn't hear anything so I emailed them. Was told order would ship 1/24. Didn't happen, Sent email finally got answer item was on "National Backorder". I tried to cancel order and was asked to leave the order with them since they had to order the item. I agreed if they would not charge me shipping. They agreed and promised delivery on or before 2/18. That didn't happen but they did charge my CC on 2/19 for the item PLUS shipping. Will not respond to emails or phone calls. It's now 2/29, no item, no refund and no explanation. Avoid these people."

"Horrible experience. If there was a negative rating, they deserve it. I placed my order on 1/29 and received and email the next day. Didnt hear anything for a week, then requested an update through the online message box on the site and received a reply from Sarah that my order was scheduled to be shipped on 2/8. I didnt receive it then, so I sent another online inquiry and Sarah stated that she was submitting an inquiry.
Still nothing, and sent yet another, more stern, inquiry, and received a call from the company saying that my order was due in on 2/19 and that I would have it on 2/21 (today). I returned the call and left a message, then got an email stating that my order is to be shipped on 2/22.
Stay away from these folks. I could have had my product weeks ago with any other online retailer.
