"I had to wait a few weeks for my desk to be delivered even though it was in stock. The updates leave a lot to be desired, I really had no idea when to expect delivery. The delay appeared to be at the warehouse. Once it was shipped it arrived quickly and was packaged very well. Assembly was simple and quick. The desk does not look like flat package furniture - no hardware showing. Once assembled it is very sturdy. The wood is beautiful. My only complaint is that there is a good size “ding” on the front leg. Which is disappointing. I don’t want to return it because it took so long to get it. "

"I have ordered from Hive in the past and it is always sterling; however, this time, it was even better. I needed a product(s) to be expedited; however, expedited shipping is not an option on the purchase website. I sent a note to customer service and told them I would pay for expedited/FedEx/Overnight-type shipping if they could offer it, and I told them when I needed my product(s) by (the date). However; note - my email to customer service was me whining, ;-)......but clearly not expecting anything, just stating that I wished they would offer expedited shipping, etc.
They did everything in their power, (not sure what they did), but I did receive my products prior to the date I needed them - and - I recevied them prior to the date that they had originally given me as the "original delivery date" (which was after the date that I needed them).
Bottomline - awesome job from Hive! So appreciate all of their customer service emails to keep me posted and successful efforts! Pamela Chips"
"I purchased two Bensen Sleeper Sofas from Hive Modern on October 7, 2022 and both were delivered damaged in early 2023. The Sleeper Sofas were shipped with their leg supports attached and both supports were bent in delivery, making fully attaching the legs impossible. Also, the legs themselves were rusted with large gaps in the welds and a chrome finish that was hazy and marred — Inexplicably poor craftsmanship and quality control by Bensen. How did they leave the factory in that condition?
I contacted Gabe Fernandez from Hive Modern Customer Service and Niels Bendtsen, the President of Bensen, but neither are working to resolve the issues and both are just pointing fingers. It is now June 20, 2023 and there's no resolution in sight. I currently have both Sleeper Sofas unusable, sitting in pieces on my Living Room floor."
