On another four wheel walker the manufacturer sold replacement brakes in pairs, the right and left brakes for a total of $44. It makes sense because if one side is worn out, the other should be very close to needing its own replacement too. FeatherLight, the original manufacturer of my friend's walker, chose to sell the right or left replacement brake kit as a single side kit, and that would cost my friend $34. for each side. So it would make better sense to buy a pair for $44 or even $54, but in this case, probably not the $68 they would cost unless we were sure the right hand brake would also fail."
