"We have had to send back too many of these pieces on our dime back to the company, and I am tired of it. There have been a few pieces I have enjoyed, but by in large, the sizing is wrong. The extra larges are still too small in the waist and too roomy in the shoulders. My husband bought me two pieces both which have had to be returned (on our dime, not theirs) The cape's openings for the arms are so near the front that it's totally wrong and no one could wear this. Lazy designing with some good ideas, but the problem is that when you have a bodice that ties (laces in the front), it would be smart to reinforce it or it won't hold together well. Mostly, I have had it with this company and it's inferior products that come from India. I do make clothes and understand construction and you folks are just too inconsistent in fit and quality and having to pay to send things back is a deal breaker. You need to guarantee your product through free return. Both were a gift. The invoice below refers to the cape."
"FRAUD- DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!! I placed my order in August 2019 and received a confirmation my order was placed. After a month of not receiving anything I reached out to customer service and was advised they would “ship out in 3-5 days” and that “they appreciate my patience”. Another 15 days passed no notice of a shipment followed up with customer service and it was as if someone copied and pasted the same email. Another month passed at this point we’re in November! I reached out again (at this point thinking I’ve wasted time and money and seriously irritated) and received an email that the item I ordered was in High Demand (this item wasn’t on sale or noted as in high demand or anything) and they apologized for the inconvenience and would ship my item once it was back in stock, which would be 3-5 days! Or that I had the option to receive store credit NOT a REFUND! 1- why would I want to order anything from this store if it takes months to get an order and I get no real update on the status of my order. Since I received this email I responded to the customer service rep Dana advising to finalize my order and fulfill the shipment! There was no way I would purchase from them again as I would not want to wait this long for another item. I purchased this in August for an event in December giving me enough time not to stress about what I was going to wear to the event. Here we are in December and still no product or even response from anyone after requesting they fulfill my order! "
"I splurged for my birthday, and purchased 5 items on sale. I went a size larger as I wanted them to be roomy. They arrived, and are beautiful, but clearly mismarked. I ordered size Medium, and they are so tight I can barely get them on.
I contacted the company, because they were on sale there are no returns, or exchanges. I was offered a 20% discount on a future order (never again), and referred to a closed facebook group to sell their clothing.
Once I was added to the group, I found countless women who had the same problem of mislabeled sale items. dresses marked small look like XL, Mediums are small etc.
These items are clearly not labeled correctly, and are very likely on sale for that reason.
Extremely dishonest company. So disappointed.

I used to be a regular buyer for years but after this insult, never again. There are plenty of other sites that have their act together and prettier clothing. The clothes also stink like cheap dye. Wash them a few times before wearing, if you even receive them."
"I have been shopping with HC for around 10 years. At this point I wear HC around 90% of the time. Some of my older items have developed holes and the white is showing through around the embroidery, as some have stated. But, they have taken a lot of wear and tear. Some folks also need to take the steps to "fix" the dye. These clothes are comfortable and uniquely styled. I wear them casual, dressy, business and as costumes. They are extremely versatile. The only reason I docked a star is that prices have doubled, so affordability has decreased. This is only a slight issue for me, but could be a larger issue for others."
"I have been purchasing HC for a while now and ...keep doing so . I love their unique styles , the quality of the materials ,the colours they come in and how they fit true to size . It's especially wonderful to see that they have a fabulous size range ,giving even some larger built ladies the chance to wear something very special and beautiful .Not everyone is a petite size , especially as we grow older. These garments are just so very feminine .I am hoping to buy many more .One day I would love to see only HC outfits when I open my wardrobe ! I have found, just recently, that there are not many 3x sizes available at the moment. I shall keep looking."
