"One of the suggested pros was the only one to do my project. That pro came out and looked at it then said would get back the same day with the estimate. I have never heard back. I emailed twice and still never heard back."
"I submitted a project requiring an electrical contractor. It wasn't a big job, but in the $2,000 range. What happened? No response from a contractor. Nothing came from Home Advisor. No response to my inquiry directly to them. Their advertising is B.S. Totally useless."
"I had a bad experience for home adviser and repair company. HomeAdvisor introduced me the company which fix door.And I saw free quotation on website. So asked the door fixing company to get free quotation. After took door out and check model number for parts. But they didn’t put door back properly so it doesn’t close perfectly now. And they asked me for Labor fee $170 to check the model number. I think this is anfare without asking Labor fee before their work for quotation. That mean it is not free quotation. Then I called home adviser customer service but they told me they can’t do anything to individual contractors. That’s it. So unhelpful and disappointed. Also fixing company said if I don’t pay for laborfee , they don’t return the door as same as before. He said “if you change your mind call me” that’s the end. Now just relocated door in cold weather. HomeAdvisor says they send PRO but I don’t think they are PRO. "
