"The contractor we used from home advisor was a thief! He began the demolition portion of our remodel job, took over $17,000.00 in advance payments, and never completed the job. With just a little research any child could accomplish, we quickly found out this contractor had pulled this same scheme on several others. We immediately submitted a scathing review to Home advisor which they refused to post quoting "we have to run this through our legal department". Use there recommended professionals at your own risk - or better yet, bypass them and do your own vetting of contractors. "
