"I had a bad experience with a quote on a service. I did not hire them and rated them bad because they were so rude. Home adviser did not post the review and then the business tried to call me but didn't leave a message. I can only assume they were only going to be rude to me again."

"We are big DIY people - but we had a project that needed a professional - Kitchen Remodel. I didnt want to call the big sub-contractor companies ($$$). I have hired 3 contractors in the last 3 weeks. Plumber, Electrician, Drywall, Windows. The plumber was not hired - but shared a DIY so we could fix ourselves! NICE! The electrician was knowledgeable in his field - he saw my vision and made it happen! The drywaller was clean, polite and did an AMAZING job! The window installer has not installed yet... in process. I did have a few other contractors come out for the same jobs and found them to lack professionalism. Verbal qoutes are never good. ALWAYS get a written qoute!"
