"I am a realtor looking for service providers to provide as referrals to my clients. In the past two days I've given 3 referrals to contractors I've found on the site. However this evening I got a phone call from one of the service providers I found on the site. When I told him I was doing research on service providers for a client, he became short with me and said that I should call HomeAdvisor because he paid for this. I'm assuming he paid for the lead? Is using HomeAdvisor to find contractors to refer to my clients not an appropriate way to use the service? Please advise."
