"I received quotes from at least 4 companies due to my contact with HomeAdvisor and 2 other contractors that I contacted on my own. Bids ranged from $6,200 to $12,500 dollars for A/C for a 1,400 sf ranch home. Each one talked of a 2.5 ton unit, but 4 of the writen proposals quoted on a 3 ton unit. I selected the lowest bidder, even considering the phrase "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Very pleased with the outcome at this time."
