"Good communication, **** too many email pings. "
"I signed up to have several audio contractors contact me, and only one did. They do not expect their 'contractors' to contact clients that requested help and quotes."
"Excellent cleaning service "
"We were pleased with the website and the ease to find the contractor we needed."
"It worked out very well and took most of the pressure off me trying to find a reliable company.
"
"The process on line was easy and quick and the responses by contractors were as well. "
"Communication was clear., "
"Easy, fast reply, use local companies"
"They stayed with me until I found a Lawn service company"
"I like that I get at least 3 companies to choose from and get a quote. With each project I have usually picked the first person that called me. The old saying the early bird gets the worm!"
"Wasn't sure if the recommended professional would call me. Ended up calling myself. The process was not clear"
"Gave me a long list of potential services, and two called within minutes."
"Have used them before and will use them again."
"I had issues tracking the quote process through the website. Initially I started at Angi.com, but when clicking on the links in emails they sent me about , a page wouldn't load, or would just take me to the main page instead of my project's page. I called their support number, and got #s for more contractors, then started getting emails from HomeAdvisor with links to that website. Angi/HomeAdvisor needs to consolidate their websites, eliminate one or the other, present a unified customer interface and eliminate confusion as to what company the customer is dealing with.
It also wasn't clear if the customer is responsible for contacting the contractor or if the contractors would be calling the customer. I received texts from Angi stating "Good News! [so-and-so] would like to quote your project. Tap to view! [some-website-address]". Those links inevitably wouldn't work, but if the contractors want to quote my project, and Angi has my phone number, are they supposed to call me, or am I supposed to call them. Clear as mud.
In the end, I did find a great contractor through Angi/HomeAdvisor, but the web service is a mess."
"Because we were new to the area, we didn’t have any resources. We were redoing an entire house and needed many different professionals and services. Home Advisor was invaluable. I was satisfied with all contracted work overall. "
