"We ordered the Dimplex fieldstone fireplace on Jan 2. The Home Perfect website advertised 1-2 business day shipping. On Jan 7, the product had not arrived, so I contacted Home Perfect to find out the product was setting in the warehouse! The customer service rep informed of that fact and flippantly responded that it would be shipped on Jan 8! Now, it is Jan 13 and the status simply shows "in transit" with an estimated delivery date of Jan 21! Needless to say, we hope the product arrives in new condition and performs as advertised."

Young man named Donny who was wonderful. He told me when my item would ship and apologized for not having any correspondence prior to this. I received my package the next day. The issue was not that it took so long to get the issue was that I was not kept informed."

"I bought an in stock toilet from HomePerfect.com for $812.71. A couple of days later I called and told them I had to cancel the item. They said no problem and canceled the item at my request. I finally got the refund a month later for 52% of the purchase price. I contacted them and learned that they have a high restocking fee. I told them it was the highest I had ever seen by almost triple and asked if they would adjust it as I didn't even take delivery of the item. They said no. This company is clearly not operating in the best interests of the customer and I will never buy from them again. I hope this review keeps other people from being ripped off as I was.
To make it even worse, when I called to cancel the item the person I spoke with did not mention anything about a restocking fee much less a significant restocking fee. If they had mentioned it I could have made an informed decision as to whether it was worth returning the item. There failure to inform me of the significant restocking fee is as inexcusable as much as the large restocking fee is considered gouging. Even when they emailed me my return number they did not mention the restocking fee. They had ample opportunity and chose not to tell me."
