"I would never order from this company or recommend it. Unfortunately like many others I did not read the reviews. I placed my order on October 15, my card was charged October 18th. I only received part of my order and that wasn't until November 2nd. I have sent e-mails and placed a call with no response. I placed this order for sons 2nd birthday party which has come and gone and it is so disappointing there are companies out there like this. I hope the next customer looking to purchase from this company see's this and than goes somewhere else. "
"This site is a scam. I wish I had researched this site before placing an order. Like everyone else, I placed my order and my credit card was charged. I ended up ordering my items from TreasuredBirthdays.com and have already received it, but I've yet to receive my order from hometown and I cannot get anyone on the phone nor will they return my call. "Well like everyone else on here i to have been scammed!!! My story is similar. I ordered slap bracelets for our school store I ordered $20 worth and decided to pay the extra $10 to have it shipped priority. Well after several 20 to be exact daily phone calls and several emails daily with no response I had a feeling I was scammed, not to mention my CC was charged the next day. So like a dummy I decided to read reviews, just to find out what I really thought had happened. So like the rest tom I will be calling my credit card company and I will be filing a complaint with BBB. Also I will be contacting the Attorney General of the state they claim to do business in, I would encourage the rest of you to call as well maybe they will be able to have this site removed. I have learned a lesson do my research prior to shopping online. "
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering from this company. I had been doing a lot of online ordering prior to my wedding without a problem. I ordered a cake topper from them for my rehearsal dinner. My credit card was charged that day. When I didn't get it in a reasonable time frame, I emailed their customer service. No response. Once the wedding madness had died down, I called them and left a message. No response. I put in a formal dispute with my credit card company and sent a registered letter to Hometown Celebrations. I just got credited but still no explanation for why I didn't receive the item or a response to any of my attempts to contact them. "

"This companyhas to be a scam. I placed an order on 8/19, my credit card was charged right away and at this point it has been more than 2 weeks and I have neither herad back from their so called "customer care" or received the merchandise. I placed a dispute with my credit card company and in their system it showed a different contact number. The number is not existent and the phone numbers on the website never get answered. You leave a message and no one ever gets back to you. My advice is to never buy from this company. I was very disappointed, no calls, no contacts, nothing whatsoever and worst of all no merchandise. Hard to believe that something like that goes on in tis country."
"AVOID!!! This Seller will totally rip you off. After I placed my order, my credit card was compromised. Then, I never received my order. No response from Seller to emails or phone calls. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Seller's home state. Had to file a charge dispute with my credit card to get my money back. Very discouraging!"
"Buyer beware! They charged my credit card ($51.14) on the same day I placed the order. I have found and called 4 different phone numbers for this co., and all numbers are messages, no live person answers the phone. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, to no avail. As of 8/24/10 I have not received any merchandise. The site is still up and running. A gentleman's voice on his message says "God Bless". Wow, he has a lot of nerve! The site needs to be shut down!"
"DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! I too have fallen victim to this company, and I only just learned about these issues after having placed my order. The only communication has been a confirmation email. I ordered Lilo and Stitch cupcake rings from my daughter's birthday party. I started calling when I couldn't get any shipping information details. I've left messages, sent emails,and not one response. I have now filed a complaint with BBB. I am usually quite careful about ordering online, that goodness I didn't spend too much, although I am bothered that they have my card information. I am just surprised that even after the complaints made about this company, that the site is still even up or that this company hasn't racked up enough money by now to have criminal charges filed against them. "

This morning I sent an e-mail to PriceGrabber (per the yahoo store direction) to lodge a complaint and request that the site be removed from Yahoo Store."

"i am having the exact same problem. i made my order on 3/16/10 for 2 dozen Baseball Frosted Ring Suckers for my wedding shower on 5/2/10. i chose to have it sent Standard which is just a USPS mailing. on 3/26/10 when i still hadn't received anything i sent an email asking where my order was, since i called and called and called and no one would ever pick up. i left messages and no return calls. i received what appeared to be an automated email back thanking me for my order and that i could click on the link to find out the status of my order, but all it said was USPS Shipment and nothing about when it was shipped out. it is now 4/2/10 and i still have yet to receive my order. my wedding shower is in 30 days so we'll see if it arrives by then. this company appears to be scammers, however i noticed that my credit card was also not yet charged for the order - i will be watching very closely! even if they sent it USPS it doesn't take 3 weeks to go from mississippi to chicago! Oriental Trading used to have the same product, but are out of stock, however they do have sport ball suckers so i might just have to order that and pick out the baseballs from the other three types of balls. it is too bad they are out of stock otherwise i would have just ordered from them since i know they are a reputable company unlike this unprofessional company we are all dealing with! BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IF NO ONE BUYS THEY WILL BE FORCED OUT OF BUSINESS.

i checked back on their website regarding my order and now it says my order has been canceled, but there is no reason why and i didn't get an email to alert me, so if i hadn't checked their site i never would have known! they are a very unprofessional company - STAY AWAY FROM THEM!"
"I ordered on Feb 28 and received confirmation and a link to check status. They said it would ship within 2-5 days. I started calling and emailing after 10 days and have NEVER gotten anyone to anser the phone (3 different phone numbers) or respond to multiple emails. I filed a dispute with VISA so I got my money back- stay away from this company."
"3/26/10 Update....Finally got my order IN THE USPS mail in an envelope. The Picks were cheap paper type and mailed in a baggie...60 picks in a baggie. I am merely glad I have my order bbut future parties will be designed around the cupcake/cake themes available at local bakery....BUYER BEWARE-I SO wish I had read these reviews before placing an order for 60 total cupcake picks for my son's B-day party. I would not have ordered. I placed my order on 3/8/10, rec'd an email on 3/11/10 stating the order had been rec'd. Website now says ships in 2-5 days. On 3/22, I rec'd an email that my order had been shipped. NO tracking number, no contact number. My son's family party (12 cupcakes) was 3/20, the friend party is this Saturday (36 cupcakes) and they will probably not arrive. (even more fearful aafter reading the emails) She promptly took the money, though. I have called at least 30 times in a week with no response, no return call. It sounds like a cell phone that you are calling. I searched 3 different companies and wished I had seen these reviews. I made the stupid mistake of going with a company that allegedly saved me about $2.00. Now I am out the almost $14 incl S/H for cupcake picks plus whatever we use to replace them...WILL NEVER order anything like this again from the internet and WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. "Beware!! I placed an order on March 1st, 2010 for 2 sets of cake toppers Batman Picks to use for my Son's Birthday. Began calling and leaving messages 10 days later and NO RESPONSE.
